Hey Guys, the "Alpine Mountain" project, will this "disturb" my baby "http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=25381" ? i absolutly need to know !!!

Also, can this town and the Future UL that i want to create associated to it (the town) be part of the UL project ?
i mean look at the screen, it's already a sweet piece of landscape (the town)... he he ! ???

Eniway, i'm not to sure if this was the place to post about my idea, so i'll keep it for me, for now ok !
I'm expecting news on this soon guys...

Alpine Mountain is merely a planned UL, no modder is assigned to it as far as I know, so at this point in time you have nothing to fear with regards conflicting :)

I've been meaning to install Coldstone Town for quite some time now but haven't gotten around to it yet. Typically a UL does not contain much in the way of settlements (modding rule 5.) UL mods shall focus on landscaping. Buildings, Quests, NPCs and/or creatures are allowed to be part of an UL mod only if they are essential for the credibility or the atmosphere of the mod.) so we may not be able to recognise it as a UL. You could create a separate mod (as a potential UL) in the area, designed to fit around Coldstone Town but able to be used on its own. Please PM cthulhu with details of your ideas for a UL, along with a vague idea of the area likely to be covered by the mod. The UL Council will then be able to discuss this in private.

This isn't an outright rejection of your suggestion for a UL to include Coldstone Town, but do please consider the possibility of creating a UL based around but excluding the town, so that the town could be an optional addition.

I surly do understand the concept,dont worry... this idea was kinda (Coldstone Vs U.L.) to expend my town with a UL... but the idea i have might be an other U.L. has we know them (landscape based)... so i'll be messaging cthulhu right now !

That's a great idea reaper9111; a UL mod that is compatible, but not including or dependant, upon your town mod.

* Which I have downloaded, but plum missed installing the last time I redid everything. Now I will. :embarrass:

No problem :) Annoyingly I can't install Coldstone Town just now as I only have the v1 to v2 upgrade file, not the initial v1 file, and I have no internet at home at the moment :(

Did you remove the C.Water tag from the Unofficial Oblivion Patch, then rebuild your bashed patch?

oh i didnt know i was sopost to do that this is the first time ive useed Unique Landscapes. :banghead:

It is a "bug" with the UOP that it is marked with C.Water. This forces UOP's water levels to be imported into the bashed patch, and thereby override the water level changes in the UL plugins. By removing it, no water levels are imported into the bashed patch, and the later-loading mod (the UL) wins :)

Couple of questions...

I do not use Wrye_Bash (had it installed some months ago but found it too complicated for what I was needed at the time) and only run a couple of ULs (Lost Coast and Imperial Isle if memory serves). I do, however, run UOP. Does the C.Water UOP bug effect Bash_Patches only, or does all who use ULs (and other land altering mods, I suppose)? In other words, do all need the fix or just Wrye users?

Assuming removal is needed, how is it done? I do not have the construction set installed. I do use TES4Edit, but so far have limited myself to looking for (not solving) mod conflicts and simple auto cleaning.

Without a Bashed Patch, normal load order is the only thing that matters, and with UL mods loading after the UOP (right ?), it should come out correct.

Tags like C.Water has no meaning outside a Bashed Patch.

No problem :) Annoyingly I can't install Coldstone Town just now as I only have the v1 to v2 upgrade file, not the initial v1 file, and I have no internet at home at the moment :(


Well my friend, dont bother, Coldstone V3 is Out and needs experimented tester... (btw) and for you to know V1 to V2 is the complete version of V2...lol my bad if i wrongly explain it by saying "V1 to V2"... eniway, you wont need it no more V3 is a Complete download in BSA FORMAT !
