There are "holes" / "bubbles" in the pool of water at the bottom of Reachwater Rock that if you swim into cause you to fall as if you were in empty air and not water, preventing you from surfacing.
This bug happened to me too .
The most irritating bug I have encountered is being unable to complete the Companions questline . SPOILER AHEAD
After returning with the witches heads , everyone is standing around in the aftermath of the Silver Hand attack . Everyone is " busy " and can't be talked to . Vilkas meanwhile , is strolling around like it's another sunny day in Skyrim , without a care in the world . His conversation options are the same as always , training , why did he join the Companions , etc . No final quest options , it's like nothing's happened and he doesn't see all the dead bodies around him . I was really wanting to use the Skyforge to smith some unique items , so this is a major bummer . This happened pre-patch btw , and is still broken post patch .
The above mentioned bugs and some random lag were my only problems pre-patch . Post patch is a whole other story .
Within the first 20 minutes of play , my game froze for the first time , I'm up to 4 now . The lag is still there , and seems to happen a bit more often .
Textures are worse than I've ever seen them , waterfalls , and gauntlet details are especially affected .
My follower has somehow " lost " 4 different weapons I've given him , and resorts to fist fighting , rendering him practically useless as anything other than a pack mule . The weapons are not in his inventory when I check .
Upon exiting Honningbrew Meadery today , I observed a dragon fly into the mountain to the right , and disappear . A short while later , once again exiting the meadery , I saw a guard fighting a dragon . The dragon had half it's health gone , and was walking backwards on the ground . The animations were jerky , presumably because dragons were never meant to walk backwards . The skeleton thrashed around for a good 5 minutes after being killed .
While in the area of the meadery , I noticed that the Nirnroot under the bridge downstream , and also the one upstream , are both still glowing even though the plant has already been harvested . I'm not sure if this is a worldwide glitch , those are the only 2 I've noticed so far .
A couple hours ago , while randomly exploring , I stumbled upon Eldersblood Peak . After making it up to the word wall , and absorbing the shout , I went around the right side to try to get the elder dragon to attack me ( he was just hanging out hovering behind the right side of the word wall above North Cold Rock Pass ) . When he saw me , the controller vibrated , and he flew backwards in a circle then fell into the mountain . His wingtips were poking out , and he could still attack and hurt me with his flame , but I couldn't damage him , even when I jumped down the mountain to attack his wings . I had to walk all the way back to Rorikstead before his health bar disappeared from my screen and I could fast travel .
I wasn't able to play wednesday , and have only played about 4 hours today , so in a day and a half I've encountered more bugs than I did in the 155 hours of play pre-patch . I'm not too upset about any of them ( with the exception of the Companions one ) , Skyrim is still an awesome game . I just think it's funny that the patch that was supposed to fix things ended up creating far more glitches , at least in my game , than it fixed .
