Thieves Guild Quest - Triniity Restored- Karliah wont show up at the standing stone.

PLEASE fix this im 79 hours in and dont want to start a new game.

Great list, I'm amazed how you've put it all together, it's so... complete! I recognize a lot of these. They will hopefully and probably be fixed within the near future. Would love to see an official statement from Bethesda soon, I really love this game and want it to work perfectly... as soon as possible.

in the list the "Master Criminal" bug is missing... seems like all non-englisch versions have this bug.. the throphy simply doesn't pop up, so the platin throphy is not possible currently with this versions.. englisch versions seem to have the bounty in the stats, all other versions not and so don't get this throphy

Any time the menu is open (not just auto saves) there's a fifty-fifty chance that my system will crash. IT DOES THIS CONSTANTLY!! Now my harddrive is f@#ked! Thanks Bethesda! With all the crashes I'd give the system a couple months before it's dead. Lost years of save data and non-recoverable DLC\content. I hate bethesda so much, love the game when it works but that isn't often.

I completed all the Jarl Rifkin quest and bought a house and when I spoke again to the Jarl she did not bestow the rank of thane on me and I didnt get my servant. Also the bumdass steward ripped me off, I bought all the decorations but he didn't do the down stairs servants quarters. I have been back many time in the hope that it may up date but no joy.

Another possible bug is that even though I have completed all the thieves quest and appeased Nocturn, there are still unfortunate thieves being rundown and killed in Rifkin. I thought that with their Luck now restored this would have ceased to happen.

I have have had 3 dragons die and not give me theirs souls.

The surrender system dosn't work I have had a 40 bounty and very guard in Whiterun chase me even though I am the leader of the Theives guild and sheaving my weapons in out in out to no effect. I had the same problem when the dam cat at Whitehold gave me some scrolls and my fiery shield singed me houscarl who attacked me so much for "I am your sword and shield" I had to flee and wait two days for the traitor to walk back to my house in Morkath.

P.S I have all Rabathons bugs as well

I also encountered a problem with Blood on the Ice.

I sold the amulet to the rare items guy, then as the thief I am stole it back. Discovered it was possible to resell it to him unlimited times (made quite a fortune before I decided to move). Last thing I did was to steal it one last time and be off with it. I put the rest inside a spoiler just in case some people won't get the whole thing before they try it themselves.

I then went talking to the woman, then to the steward and got the mage imprisoned. The next kill however that was supposed to happen never did. I never saw it at least. A few days later with no murder I went talking to the mage in the cell and hoped perhaps to get a tip on what to do. Then I had the option "there was another murder". How my character know that is a mystery, as I never saw anything. However, I then got the "patrol stone quarter at night" quest, and went on over there. In the middle of the day. However, there was the real murderer and sneaked upon his victim in the middle of the day. I hit him, and he ran off. Into the alchemystore... He then went on to second floor got on his knees and whimped.

So three, possibly four bugs:
1. No murder happened, still my character knew about the murder that never happend.
2. The real murderer attacked in the middle of the day instead of the night.
3. He ran into the alchemystore, while I'm pretty sure he was supposed to run to the house with all the clues (can't remember the name)
4. I am not convinced that it should be possible to resell the amulet to the guy as many times as you want. At least it is very unnatural, people just doesn't have that short memory.

Another thing that is for me quite important. I don't know if it really classify as a bug, but it's very weird at least.
Unnatural talking and my character knowing more than myself is a problem I have seen several times in Skyrim.
-Yesterday I walked into Dragon Bridge for the first time. I never been in the area or anything. First guy I talked to I could ask "So... your wife's a [censored] huh?" (not exactly like that but you know...). I never seen his wife. To take such a wild guess with complete strangers is for me not particulary polite, or natural.
This was just an example, I've noticed several of these weird conversation-options around. It appear that I have been witness to conversations I never actually witnessed. Some of these conversations i supposedly have witnessed have taken place in place I have never been!

Great Topic and thanks to the Author for making it.

Ive experienced most of the bugs mentioned before this post such as book cases not being able to be activated after adding or removing books, I get the shout bug alot where activating a shout doesn't always work, mainly on unrelenting force, but I did find when unrelenting didn't work, that if I sheathed my weapons it would sometimes work once my weapons was sheathed but thats not practical when your mid combat.

My strangest bug has to be an npc thats stuck and has been duplicated twice, Outside Whiterun Stables an npc by the name of Louis Lotrush got stuck so you could only see him from the waist upwards, his legs & feet are stuck in the ground and he is unable to move, the 1st time I saw this I just ignored it and hoped it would fix itself, but I recently noticed that there is now 3 npcs named Louis Lotrush that have the same name, clothes, face and so on, all three are stuck outside the Whiterun Stables, the original is still stuck in the ground with the other 2 just stood next to him, they stay there 24/7 and this had happened before the 1.02 patch. I Will try killing 2 of them later until all 3 have been killed atleast once with one left alive and see if anything changes and if so I will update this post.

The Following are Quest related:
Quest Name: Finn's Lute + Pantea's Flute + Rjorn's Drum (Bards College Quests)
Quest Bug: Still have the Items in my inventory after handing in and completing the quests.

Quest Name: Find The Copy of Brothers of Darkness (Quest giver is the Orc Urag gro- Shub at Winterhold College in the Library)
Quest Bug: I had already picked up the book before getting the quest and can't hand the book in to complete the quest. Can't drop the book and despite the cave it's supposed to be in having reset, a new book doesn't spawn in the chest it's supposed to be in.

I will post any new bugs that may occur and haven't been mentioned should I come across any in a new post as they happen, thanks again to the topic maker and you guys for giving your feedback which will hopefully improve the game in due course, im sure the devs will do their best to fix as much as possible per required patch, so try and be patient and keep reporting any bugs you come across. There was a patch on release day and antoher a few weeks later thats 2 in less than a month which is pretty quick, other games are lucky to see a single patch within 3-6 months so im sure the devs will keep plugging away, they want it as perfect as us if not more!

Update: Just left Whiterun and ran to the stables to find that instead of there being 3 Louis Lotrush's there is now 4, so it seems it's dupliucated him again.
So I decided to try and put them out of their misery, (after all their legs must be aching by now) only to find out they won't die, their health depletes but they get backup after a few seconds of kneeling, this is the same for all 4. No mention of his name in the strategy guide so im guessing he's not an important character but I could be wrong. Maybe if someone else comes across him they could try killing him and let me know if he dies or not? Save 1st though I don't want you getting a bounty on my account.

The quest in Riften to join the thieves guild is broken. i was hoping they would of fixed with last patch. But its the quest called "A Chance Arrangement". I have Stolen the ring and placed it in to brand-shei's inventory though pickpocketing. I spoke to Brynjolf and he said meet him in the the Ragged Flagon, but he will not leave his market stall.

Glitches I've discovered:

Blood on the Ice Quest: After speaking with Wuunferth in the prison, when he tells you to patrol the stone quarter the next night, quest automatically updates that this has been done. Calixto then appears in Hjerim and does not leave; he can also not be killed.

Liberation of Skyrim: Battle of Solitude: Speaking with Galmar to begin the quest gives you the prompt to meet up with the rest of the troops; however, the quest marker stays over Galmar's head, he will no longer talk to you, and the troops never appear outside of Solitude even though the scenery changes to the siege. Solitude also closes and cannot be entered.

Quest items: Items such as Alto Wine and Giant's Toes are marked as quest items in inventory despite not having any quest related to them in the quest log, tends to clog the inventory and build up a lot of weight if not careful since the items cannot be removed.

Winterhold Guards attacked after fast traveling there from a different hold I had a bounty in.

More as I find them.

Favorites activation/deactivation not working. Cannot assign new favorites after patch, or un-favorite "favorited" items/spells assigned prepatch. This is the biggest issue for me...it totally makes playing this game unbearably slow to constantly go into the item menu/spell menu to change things. I can deal with all other issues with the game...but this one really breaks the game for me.

GAME-BREAKING bug for me, on the PC version via Steam:

I can no longer find a way to scroll through lists. At all. Not powers; not inventory; not speech options; nothing. So, yeah. That makes the game pretty much un-playable. Basically, it looks like the game isn't registering the arrow buttons at all, although they register fine in every other program I use. I've reloaded the game, restarted Steam, shut down and restarted my machine, no joy. I've tried reloading a second character I hadn't played since early yesterday---same problem. I really hope this gets fixed soon, since it seems for the moment that I can't play. I don't suppose there's a work-around? A separate set of keys to scroll through lists? It isn't as though I can scroll through the list of game controls any more either.

some more ones:
- I have meanwhile three amulets that reduce the time betweend the dragon screen by 20% and as they are quest items I can't sell them or place them somwhere... not sure if its even a quest item, but if we can't I sell just two of those

- killed a dragon (with the new patch) and the soul came about 10 min later

- entering an area where i killed a drogon before , t happened the body / skeleton was up in the air and flew down on the floor ... I think it was when I came out of a door.. not a big thing

@ vocaloid: I think I killed meanwhile three dragons after the patch (min 2) and worked without freeze

Fully depleting the life bar of one of the glitchy dragons in flight caused a massive drop in framerate. I'd estimate it to be one frame per three seconds.

I'm unable to activate weapon plaques.

At one point in time, it seemed like everyone in Solitude was levitating.

Investigate the Boethian Cultist has never left my quest log, despite having done it and completing the entire Boethia quest line.

Resistances are indeed busted. 100% poison resistance from the Ancient DB armor, but I'm still getting poisoned.

Can someone test some stuff for me to see if it is a constant bug?

Raise a draugh or any zombie during dungeons and change area. See if they die immediately when you change to another area, like outside of the dungeon.

Found another one, my frost atronach die immediately when i use frost cloak pointing to him. Someone test this too, please.

I've noticed some potions having random effects. Like carrying capacity potions that don't increase as much as they should, or any.

Didn't see this one listed, I can replicate the error once in a while.

When fighting in the world map, if you strike a Summoned Dremora Lord as he's materializing, the load screen is thrown up, and your character is relocated about 1/3rd of the world map away, thousands of feet in midair, locked into place.

Fast traveling will free you, and summoned monsters will appear thousands of feet above you, and plummet past you to their doom just about when you start wondering if the summon spell worked.

Was happening in the area around Riften, if anyone wants to try and replicate the error, Summon Dremoras and initiate a sneak or regular attack in the place they appear before they do. I've had it happen 3 times now in 2 days. (twice by intentionally replicating the circumstances)

Edit- I do have conjuration 100 backing my 100 destruction up, this is happening when replacing one of my 2 fallen summons mid combat.

Not in all cases, that has to be a random bug. I have that perk on one of my files and I know for a fact it works, there have however been a few rogue plates that I did trigger. I can't remember specifically, but they were in quest related dungeons.

Edit:
After reading I've noticed the arrow bug isn't there. Sometimes when shooting arrows enemies will just slide out the way, they don't dodge they literally slide. This can happen when you're sneaking and they have not detected you, or when you're backing up firing for your life. It takes a lot of the fun out of archery, missing is one thing but... auto evade is kinda lame.

It definitely could be related to the dungeon I was in. It is the one where a guard outside asks you to find a mask inside, with the suicide/poison/cultists, near Riften. All of the plates in there were triggering post patch but not before (I had saved inside the dungeon prior to dl'ing the patch).

Is it normal that when you discover a dragon in his Lair, Dragon fly very fast and is crazy about, get out of the map and flee?

Not sure if this is classed as a bug but it seems silly that If your over encumbered you can't travel on carriages, I had no horse as mine got killed so tried using a Carriage whilst over encumbered, payed the guy, sat on the back and after 30 seconds or so my character just got of. So I waited till morning and bought a horse and used that instead. Also you can't fast travel when on foot and over encumbered but you can once you get on a horse whilst still being over encumbered.

Ps Updated my post on page 3 incase you want to add extra info from it.
