It would be nice to have a new set of types for starters, that's for sure. Maybe, since they supposedly want to be innovative with B&W, they'll actually do it.

Anyway, that was... interesting. The camera seems waaaay too far back, and everything seems very pixelated. Hopefully it will improve before the game is released.

They've got it all wrong, unless everyone there is 4' tall (which I doubt) that they've got Lucario wrong... wrong wrong wrong wrong! :flame:

It would be nice to have a new set of types for starters, that's for sure. Maybe, since they supposedly want to be innovative with B&W, they'll actually do it.

just hope they dont get too crazy with it...maybe if it works with the 3DS on some scale, it would be awesome..

I'd love to see a Dark,Ghost,Psychic starter Trio. Maybe.... Also, Heartgold has been treating me well! I caught Lugia and Mewtwo with relative ease. Using dusk balls.... Yes, I wasted my free master ball on Ho-Oh... I was lazy and tired the night I claimed Ho-oh my own.

All thats left for me is the legendary dogs, and I need to find a Groudon somewhere so I can get Rayquaza or whatever the special is.

flying/fighting/rock would be the most balanced(closest to fire/water/grass) possible I think.

True. It may have been influenced by my undying love for Umbreon.... I'm in love with Umbreon like you with Lucario

Actually, my Umbreon wouldn't be too bad in a battle tower team. Faint Attack, Moonlight, Dark Pulse, and Last Resort...

flying/fighting/rock would be the most balanced(closest to fire/water/grass) possible I think.

I like Steel/Ice/Ground, I don't like when Rock Pokemon gets involved I get em confused with ground weakness sometimes, eh. I also just like the more exotic types like Ice and steel.
While were talking about starters, am I the only one that thinks the 4th gen starters are some of the best? I LOVE Chimchar and Piplup, the only reason I think the first gen starters are better (just barely) is because I really like all 3 of them, while in the 4th I LOVE the 2 but don't really like turtwig. I was just wondering which gen of starters you guys like best.

anyway....been playing platinum and I'm at the elite four, the only problem is I'm somehow really low level, I think what happen is that I've had these pokemon for awhile (or the opportunity to have em) but I wasted time on other one which in the end I won't use, like Goldduck (I'm using Garados instead) and Luxray.

Anyway my team for the elite four is:
Infernape
Staraptor
Gardos
Manoswine
Absol
Leafeon

I can't remember there levels but Leafeon is around mid 30's (as a result of the "not training the right ones early") So I still go alot of training with him, Inferaqe is 51 and the rest are somewhere in the mid 40's....What do you guys think? I know there not high enough level to fight the elite 4 but are the right kind to use I was thinking maybe of using Garatinia and I was debating either to use Manoswine or Rhydon.

My favorite starters are the Gen 2 starters. Chikorita is so cute, and Typhlosion/Feraligatr are awesome.

(I kid!).

She's terrible with spiritomb though... I almost always get to dragon dance up a Gyarados and sweep her with no resistance after I taunt it.

I've finally gotten around to setting up my DS wifi settings, so if any of you ever want to battle/trade/whatever, I've got Diamond version and my friend code's 3910 4279 9755. I have to warn you though, I don't have many decent pokemon, I'm actually still playing my way through the main story, so my team is around level 55-ish, and they all have an HM taking up a move slot.

Here's a little story: Now, about 8 months ago my 9 year old cousin visited us with his aunt. He'd left his DS back at the hotel, so I let him play mine for a bit. Since he has Platinum and I told him not to save, I thought "How much damage can he do?". Well, turns out he did save, but beyond moving some of my pokemon around a bit (Dialga, what are you doing on my team? Get back in your box), he didn't seem to have done anything. Cut to today, I've just gotten around to catching Uxie and Mesprit, so I decided to head down to Lake Valor to get me an Azelf. I go in there, and the place is empty. I look in my pokedex, and indeed, there's an entry for it that hasn't been filled in. I think "Huh, maybe it's another roaming one, like Mesprit", so I look it up on Bulbapedia and of course I see that it isn't. I know for a fact that I haven't fought it, because if I had he'd be sitting in a box on Bebe's computer. No, it turns out that my cousin defeated Azelf, then saved the freaking game. No wonder he moved Dialga into the team, seeing as how all my other pokemon were like at level 38 or something.

So basically, I'm looking for someone to temporarily trade me Azelf so I can fill out its 'dex entry. I've also got a Graveler I'd like to turn into a Golem, so maybe they could both be done at the same time?

Why not just grind on the Elite Four?
