I bet Skarmory will get an Evo next gen.

Looking at it's stats,it only has a base stat total of 465,which is absurdly low.

I don't know how a Skarm Evo wouldn't be too powerful though, would be really cool to get an alternative Skarmory Evo that is offensive with base 140 atk and 105 speed, the Pokedex entry for Skarmory always mentions his speed..yet he only has a base 70 speed.

It would have to have very meh defenses to not end up being a super-bulky sweeper, but it really would be awesome to see Skarmory as I've always thought of him as,which is a kick ass steel bird thingy-not a Pokemon that can't die but doesn't do much in return. :/

I totally forgot about skarmory. anyone remember absol? That pokemon could use some attention. Plus, that new zororak pokemon sounds like a bionicle, not a pokemon.

Absol could really use some attention. I would really like to see a Chimecho evolution, as long as it isn't terrible looking. The pre-evolution it got was rather pointless.

And from that region in ruby, tropius as well and altaria should have a third evo.

I heard from an unreliable source "around 200 new Pokemon" that means 693!

yeah, I'd rather see no new evolutions/pre-evolutions of current pokemon, and rather see all new pokemon only.

Just my opinion.

I like Rhypherior... I have a level 61....

Anyways more evos please, I love all the new evos, pretty cool IMO.

Why doesn't the rules specifiy (for the tournament) that you can't use the legendary birds or dogs, or psychics? Seems a few were missed...

Also, an Altaria evo would kick ass. I use Altaria!

I don't even allow that idea to enter my mind because of how impossible it is. Game Freak... making a new generation... with NO evolutions of past Pokemon? Bwhahahahaha! That's like asking Game Freak to actually come up with a unique plot for each new game! Bwhahahaha! Oh that's rich Defron, that's rich. Oh... *wipes tear from eye* oh god that's funny.

Do you have a picture of the Onix pre-evolution? I would like to see an Onix split-evolution where it would evolve into another rock pokemon instead of Steelix. I used to like Steelix a lot but he's so damn easy to kill, one earthquake and he's a goner.

Something along the lines of that crystal Onix from the anime would be pretty good.

Also, one thing I definitely do not want to see is more Pokemon that require ridiculously specific conditions to evolve.

IIRC, R/S/E only introduced two pokemon this way: Azurill and Wynaut, so I say it is quite possible. At the very least I hope they avoid new pre-evolutions. Eggs being different based on held item is very bothersome to me and I always find it game-breaking

Which is my main reason for being against evolutions/pre-evolutions of existing pokemon :P

The fact that they've never made a generation that didn't have evolutions/pre-evolutions of existing Pokemon is why I find it very hard to believe. I wish they never came up with the idea of pre-evolutions honestly, it just seems like a lazy way to come up with new Pokemon. As if they ran out of ideas, looked at older Pokemon like Chansey and said "Yeah... we can make a throwaway baby Pokemon out of that!"

The ones in G/S/C I understand: they wanted to encourage the new features of breeding, held-item evolving, and the day cycle, only two in R/S/E is forgivable (espeically since one is as awesome as Wynaut), but all hell broke loose in D/P/P :(

One of the few images I've seen supposedly from the new games was of a Farfetch'd evolution that I thought actually looked good.

If true, this one be one of the newer evolutions I would actually like. Although the Wild Duck pokemon is pretty awesome as it is. The other one is for Delibird which makes sense too.

It's a good fake but I don't think it's real because of the battle screen. From http://bulbanews.bulbagarden.net/wiki/File:CoroCoro_BW4.jpg, in the new games you can see your Pokemon's entire back.

Yeah, I hadn't seen the image you posted. So it probably is fake. That's unfortunate because that Farfetch'd evolution actually has a good design; it looks nice but it doesn't try to hard to be over-the-top "cool."

On May 15th we'll be getting some new info on the next games. To quote http://www.serebii.net/index2.shtml, "in addition to brand new information about the upcoming games, they're going to reveal how to obtain Zoroark."

How to obtain? You mean it's different from "throw Pokeball at it"?

My best guess is that it will involve some sort of blood sacrifice to Arceus. Maybe they'll show us how to draw a summoning circle with the stylus. I mean this is Pokemon.

I hope it's not more event items. I'm still mad that I bought Platinum and never got alternate forms for Rotom because they aren't giving out the stupid key anymore.

I was just browsing serebii and ended up at the wifi events. Apparantly I had missed quite a few like Darkrai, pikachu-colored pichu and so on. I got the Rotom key and Shaymin event though and that because I got a news letter from Bergsala(The company that distributes nintendo products in Sweden) saying I could get them.

EDIT: I can't see why they don't keep the events up a longer time...
