Sorry that took so long, you forgot to specify that it was HeartGold. I hadn't registered that friendcode yet. :P

Ahah, oh wow this is rich. Morty's Gym is a total cakewalk. I have a level 18 Rattata with Bite in there just tearing the place apart, and no Ghost pokemon can touch it.

I hate grinding so much.. It's just one pokemon that's giving me trouble too! Takes so much EXP just to level him up. *grumbles* Saving to buy a Firestone in the Pokeathlon thingy. They're not available today apparently. :/

Why is it so easy to find the Firestones etc. in the underground? It seems they tried to make up for the lack of the other games supplies with the underground. I have like 11 waterstones, and a handful of thunderstones, 2 firestones after I did my Flareon too...

Am I the only who has found like a Fossil every 2 things I "mine" or whatever it can be called? I could practically raise an entire army.

Yeah, remember when the Fossil pokemon were "rare?"

I have an Aerodactyl, a Kabuto, an Omanyte, a Lileep, and an Anorith, as well as the Shieldon... the old versions it was frustrating, because usually you could only choose one. Now I can make a whole team out of them.

Well it helps that they have the GTS now too. I was able to get ALL of the fossil pokemon on my Plat game. In-fact trading a Cranidos for a Shieldon was the very first time I used the GTS.

But hey, I'm not complaining. That underground digging minigame was way fun. ^_^

I wish I had a cranidos. But then again he'd probably just collect dust in the PC. I am very selective when it comes my pokemon.

I'd like to join up for that tournament but my pokes are legit hacks (if that makes sense; as in they are hacked to get the maximum stats they could otherwise get legitimately if I had long enough) so could I use them or not? And I think I'm going to buy a copy of Soul Silver next week, just got to wait for a little money.

I'd say get SoulSilver and train up a team from scratch there. It's not really fair to other people to used hacked Pokemon with perfect stats anyways. Plus HG/SS is basically the best Pokemon ever made to date. :P

Worth a try anyway, guess I'm out for the tournament. On a side note-does anyone have a legitimate arceus they'd be willing to trade? It's the only one I'm missing from my dex. I have every other pokemon (including every form of unown), and a fair few shiny ones (all legit, I only hack on my pearl) that I'd be willing to trade, but I'm trying to get all 493 legitimately on plat. And it's not easy.

I don't think Arceus has been officially distributed, so there's no such thing as "legitimate" at this time.

Huh, how about that. Strange that they'd release the actual pokemon before they give out the Azure Flute. :P

I get the feeling they might not bother releasing it now that HG and SS are out; they'll just have some sort of ingame event in HG/SS to get Arceus instead.

I dunno, I think they still might. I mean they just got around to releasing the Keys and Letters to get Darkrai and Shaymin in the US, so maybe they're waiting to get everybody else before they start the rounds in Japan.

On another note, it's raining pretty hard today, you guys got any "cheats" I can use to get Pokewalker steps? :hehe:

It seems to like swinging motions, like a pendulum (good thing I got a strap with mine). I've been sitting here swinging it back and forth like an Orthodox priest with incense; but I can only keep that up for so long.

Wish I had some technology. Motors, or even a pendulum clock...what would MacGyver do...
