It depends on when the Nintendo 3DS will be coming out I guess. It'd be nice if we get a date when they're announced though. But yeah, usually when a Pokemon game comes out in the fall in Japan it comes out in NA the March-April after that.

Wow, for the DS, not the 3DS? That's interesting, I'm very surprised they aren't launch titles for the 3DS. Maybe there will be versions for both the DS and 3DS. :shrug:

I've been playing my pearl version for the last few days. Just beat the plant gym, nothing but my evolved Starly (not sure what it's name is, just a trash pokemon) using Wing attack through the whole thing. I'm trying to train this Misdreavus I found in the forest to a decent level, but its attacks are garbage. Psywave and astonish. I have to go back to the pokecenter after every three battles just to recharge its PP for those moves, because both are terrible. My lineup right now is pretty strong, otherwise; level 20 Turtwig evolution, level 19 Kadabra, and the level 22 Starly evolution.

Really? It isn't surprising at all when you consider the facts:

3DS doesn't have more than a tentative, broad release date

the 3DS was announced prematurely to be announced before news leaks (more than likely it wasn't supposed to be announced before E3)

What's surprising is that Nintendo is passing up the opportunity to sell a lot more 3DS's by making the next game a launch title. I can't imagine them not making it for the 3DS, they must plan on changing it later. The amount of money made off of it being a launch title as opposed to a regular DS game is too huge to pass up.

Pokemon White will feature fun minigames for your Pokemon such as Golf and Hockey, and Pokemon Black will feature Basketball and... all of the other sports.

Pokemon is a cool concept, I liked the first game they had that was like a arena type thing were your pokemon battled and stuff. Can't remember what it was called but, that game was fun.

I have been playing gold version a lot lately and it hasn't gone to night time once. When does it turn to dusk in Gold because the latest I played the game was at like 6 o'clock.
Also, how do I find lugia in the Whirl Islands? That place is a maze. Also , can I get Deoxys in fire red? Don't I need to mystery gift or something?

So how is everyones team looking. I've been able to play a little bit more so I have

lvl 24 ekans
and that's it so far. Looking for a yanma so I can have my team ready and I'm going to train them all. I could use a psychic pokemon though or perhaps a ghost type. I just beat the 7th gym leader.

The Dragon Ball Z effect is probably going to be evident in this game, if people haven't noticed it in the past ones. (They had to keep making stronger enemies to match the growing strength of the heroes, so eventually the powers get so ridiculous that everyone is ludicrously powerful, to universal proportions)

But you start from nothing every single time. There are only more legendaries because that's what the kids like, and they're easy to make because they can be drawn from any mythology or religion.
