HEY! :P

And, lets be honest, if you found a shiny pokemon, and your girlfriend broke your DS, she wouldn't leave your house alive. :spotted owl:

Well I'm not caught up with the newest games, but my family recently moved and as a result my video games turned up, including Fire Red, which for some reason I never got around to beating (I always preferred Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald myself). But just today I beat my rival :D It was quite hard to do, I don't like how there's always such a big level gap between the elite four and your team once you get there. Just trying to go from level 45-46 took forever on victory road, so I just bought a ton of potions and went for it... and it all turned out okay :)

My best friend got Soul Silver, and he really likes it, but can't play it as much as he'd like to because of World of Warcraft..... but he says it's fun. I don't have a DS and the list of games I'd wanna get on it is piling up :(

There are only six shiny Pokemon I would kill for. Lucario, Gardevoir, Frosslass, Latias, Garchomp, and Giratina.

So I thought I'd share a story of me and a real life rival. I have a friend who has diamond, and we used to battle. He was the one who used legendaries... Well I haven;t had a chance yet, but my team of HAND-RAISED non-legendaries are now a significant 10-15 levels above his "team" and I'll soon battle him and win! Seriously, he is a good guy, but he doesn't know his types very well, and doesn't often utilize certain advantages and necessities. I mean, if you're using a flying type, switch out if they have an ice type, y'know? They must have one ice type move... I'm going to pwn him :D and then maybe I can leave this town for the next town, and fight their gym leader....

Hehe, my friend and I are like that, I usually end up beating him because my EV trained Lucario always sweeps his team.

Does he use legendaries? I love legendaries don't get me wrong, but people need to learn hand trained pokemon will always be stronger.

Yes he does, last time I beat him, he had, Giratina, Dialga, Palkia, Arceus (dragon), Latios, and Skymin.

There's a hard counter to most of those, except Arceus because he is just broken.

Your Lucario is an inferior steel type to my EV trained Scizor though.

Copypasstaaaaa

Except I recall a version with a shiny pikachu... Hrm...

And that reminds me. I have not once ever ran into a shiny pokemon. Ugh.

About 8 years ago a friend of mine was going through Victory Road or Mt. Silver. He surfs a bit, and what should appear but a shiny Seaking! He whittles down its health, throws a ball, and catches it... only to find out his box is full. Cue much wailing and gnashing of teeth.

You're assuming that I haven't gotten my swords dance up though.
Still, I wouldn't be matching steel with steel, that's silly. It's just that I've found that Bullet punch Technician Scizor will get the job done a lot better than a Lucario most of the time. It has very few hard counters besides Rotom-A and Ho-Oh.

That's because bullet punch Scizor is more broken than Geno whirl in Super Mario RPG.

Scizor is easier to counter than Lucario because Lucario is much more versatile and could be running physical sets, special sets or mixed sets and has a huge movepool. If you're worried about Scizor just start using Gyarados. :P

And despite being UU I've seen people bring Flamethrower Weezings into OU to destroy Scizor.

Anybody else see the I'm on a boat parody with Pokemon? I can't link to it, since it's pretty explicit (obviously, it's based off of I'm on a boat...).

I still think it wouldn't have a chance if my Lucario can get the first hit in. Oh, and my Lucario has a fairly high defence and has swords dance as well (although, I must admit I rarely use that attack...).
Also, if you have a Scizor with Technician, from what I heard, U-Turn is a very good attack to give it (just look at Bugsy's Scyther for proof).

Also, is there any way to change what your trainer says in the trainer house and what does that person in the violet city pokemon centre do (the one who asks you what you think about him and looks like the person who runs the pokeathlon)?

No, it became popular right at the bullying age. So even the bullies liked it.

Lucky you, my pokewalker has been thrown into the toilet (thankfully no one had used it)

Anyone ever been bullied because of Pokemon?

Nope, though that was just because I try not to make myself a target.
