I haven't settled on a final version of Young Ulfric, yet, but I'll be back with pictures as soon as I do. You can expect a combination of two of the versions I presented. :)

Another thing bugs me, though. You know when Vignar becomes Jarl? And Olfina his housecarl? I hate how she keeps wearing a dress (with a dirty apron!) and a dagger after that - she should wear armor and a sword. I browsed Nexus, but the only mod I found that addressed this also changed Vignar's clothes (which I suppose would be ok, I don't really care if he has "fine clothes" or "noble's clothes" or whatever), but put Olfina in Ancient Nord armor, which I don't want her to wear either.

I guess the easiest way to go would be to make a plug-in myself and wait to activate it until the need arises. It's just that I would have to uncheck it for the parallell game(s) where she's not yet become housecarl (or never will), and I know I won't remember to do that. Is there any way to make her change clothes when she changes faction?

yay new thread. looking forward to your stuff with younger Ulfric.

And Olfina wearing the barmaid dress did seem kinda odd. I guess just because she is his housecarl doesn't mean she instantly knows how to fight. I guess if your trying to set a scene with her in it and not in that dress you could always use console commands to force her to wear something else. click on her and console command equipitem I had to do that for Farkas after he transforms into the werewolf. He wore steel armor after returning to human form. very odd. maybe the unofficial patch fixed that. I'm still discovering the unofficial patch fixes. Can I take quest items like elder scrolls out of my inventory now? of Gallus's journel?

Irwaen and Borkakh might have gotten into some thalmor trouble too.. heh but no sides picked in the war. Came across a thalmor patrol dragging a prisoner. "Under imperial law we have the right to do this." the one said when asked who gave them the right to drag nords off in the night. Her tone irritated Irwaen who put an arrow into the back of that thalmor [censored]'s head the moment she turned away haha.

Funny how the game mechanics are. Irwaen has only killed bandits, thalmor, forsworn and hostile orc hunters. Yet twice now she has been attacked by an assassin. Someone doesn't like her. I bet its Sven... he would be so low.

I don't know about the Elder Scroll (I've yet to complete the MQ on PC) but Gallus' journal has disappeared from my inventory just as it should. And Farkas wears wolf armor (I don't think the mod I use for his appearance does this, but in any case he wore the wolf armor before I installed that mod). I know the patch also does something with Aela's armor skill - I think it makes her LA skill slightly lower and raises her HA skill, due to the fact that Ancient Nord is heavy, and she wears it on missions you do with her before you can take her as a normal followr and make her wear something else.

so after turning into a werewolf, farkas will redress in wolf armor and not steel? cause he always did that for me before. I'd also have at the funeral pyre for Kodlak that he would be naked instead of in his armor like he did on the PS3. I wonder if the patch fixes that too.

Ok, I can't say for sure that he will continue wearing wolf armor since he hasn't transformed yet in my game, but since he wears wolf armor from the start, I have no reason to believe he would suddenly conjure a steel armor out of nowhere - I can only assume the wolf armor is set to be his default instead of steel, and is the only armor in his inventory.

He was never naked in my PS3 game. :(

I could be wrong but I think Farkas' armor is something that is addressed in the unofficial patch, but UFO also alters the data for his character and so its "version" of him may overwrite the changes made by the patch and not include the fix for his armor choices. IIRC when I was using both before, he would go back to his default vanilla starting armor (i.e. not the wolf armor) after transforming during Blood's Honor. I'm pretty sure I went into UFO since then and changed whatever I had to change to make it match up with what the unofficial patch had, or at least make it so that he would both start in wolf armor and put it back on after the transformation. Haven't had a chance to play yet with those changes in place though.

On a side note, does anyone remember where that picture of the Mede Crab was? That was hilarious.

Lol, people really like the idea to pair up Ulfric with Tullius, don't they? Funny we don't see any Ulfric+Rikke romances. Of course, that wouldn't be slash...

Wasn't there supposed to be a little shrine to Mara added to Whiterun, near the Hall of the Dead? My lastest character just walked by there, and http://i.imgur.com/uez1vQS.jpg

how does one go about removing a DLC from your game? I am 100% fed up with Dragonborn.

For one thing it took my character in a direction I did not want her to go.
Second thing, quest locking glitches. I'm now stuck in the final quest.

I went as far as to disable any and all mods I know of that effect the male body including textures. no success. At least I have a back up save but that still means at every step I am plagued with Miraak showing up. There is one last thing I am going to try but I don't know if it will work. My patience is at an end...

Actually, I can totally see that happen.

It should be in front of her, a few meters or so. Of course I forgot to check when I played, I've been busy in Markarth and the Reach...

There was a party at the Silver-Blood Inn (Hroki said that always seems to happen when that Sam Guevenne comes by), and when Jelissa and Lydia had cured their hangovers, they've been doing, well, mercenary work. The Reach now has a few Forsworn less, and Jelissa is a richer woman. She has to go to Rorikstead to see if she can find that Sam - well, honestly, she doesn't HAVE to, but it's a good excuse to see if that cute guy she met the last time has gotten his armor yet... ;)

Sounds like someone is about to go see Erik heh.

And... Salessi might be getting rebooted again.

Why you ask? Because Dragonborn. It just does not suit her at all. Even if I can get everything to work, she is this over powered dragonborn who can kill just about anything she meets with a thought. Legend has it Ulfric shouted the high king to pieces with his voice. Well he can't. But Salessi can. She can also summon fire wryns from the burning corpes after using Fire Breath. She can stand before a legion of shouting Deathlords and shrug off their voices before scattering them to the winds with but a whisper. This is not what I wanted to RP at all... and I'm no longer enjoying this story.

Should I re-create her I will keep much of her story. Her past will be there, the Thieves Guild will be there. She'll also marry Aela still and be Harbinger. But I am thinking of using Live Another Life for her and maybe pick another beginning. I also want to look into mods that prevent you from becoming Dragonborn. I remember coming across one that kept you from absorbing souls or learning words of power. The Whiterun Tower attack ends with a dragon dead but without the dragon soul being absorbed, balgruuf does not talk of the Grey Beards. In fact your not even summoned. I think it also allows you to proceed with the civil war if you wish as balfruuf will talk about the axe afterwards.

All stuff I am considering... Other then Hircine I had no desire for Salessi to serve any other Daedric gods...
Spoiler
Dragonborn leaves you with no choice and your actions bind your soul to Mora's calling.

I'd keep her appearance the same also. I'm very fond if it.

(This shouldn't be considered the canon version - for one thing, that version won't take place in a Vlindrel Hall that's furnished exactly like the Vlindrel Hall Jelissa possibly might buy 25 years later.)

(Btw, speaking of how Ulfric's clothes makes him look bigger - he literally shrank the moment I force-equipped the steel armor on him. And he doesn't exactly look thin in that, either, even though this version actually is slightly thinner than the vanilla version.)

I like Rikke,She is my favourite imperial legion member :3 She,Ulfric and Galmar was a team back at the great war i guess. Also,How she says talos be with you,when/If ulfric dies. And Ulfric says that she is free to go and they are only in solitude for tullius.
Also,Young Ulfric? Why not super old gray haired ulfric?

Maybe we need some more http://24.media.tumblr.com/2bdf607e503bdd6e86a57f96bb5eafce/tumblr_mh35wic7iz1r2apyqo1_500.jpg (shamelessly reposted from elsewhere on this forum).

Because that mod will be used for a background story set around the time for the Markarth Incident. I can't use the vanilla Ulfric (who's roughly is in his late forties or early fifties) for scenes that took place when he was 25 (give or take a couple of years).

No, my guess is he got them in the great war. If it had been Markarth, they'd probably still be wounds, not scars.

And before SubRosa comments on the lack of braids: Sure, Ulfric had been in a war recently, but this was when there still were women in the Legion, so there was no need for braids.
His time as POW was short and violent, and there really was no time (or interest) for any kind of braiding. The braiding came later, during his next imprisonment, which lasted (in my headcanon) for a few years.

Since we've already established that braid supremacy is what separates pitchers from catchers, I think you can bet your sweet bippy that he started braiding as soon as the cell door clanged shut. If only for the sake of his own sweet bippy. :P
