Neloth indeed is a funny little man. He thinks he is something when he is not and didn't recognize when his better is standing at front of him. It's also funny that somehow I remember I killed him in Morrowind as a part of a quest but after all I may remember wrong because here he is and still living.

Ulfric is the true High King, and the man who will make Skyrim strong once more. Why wouldn't chicks be attracted to him? And besides that, the dude has an awesome voice. (Lol, his thu'um). Maybe I'm showing too much admiration, so I'll just take this time to mention that I don't roll that way. Just saying the dude is awesome.

I cannot argue with these facts.

"Fangirls" was an homage to the Ulfric girls. Though of course Hermaeus Mora also has his/her/its own fangirl/guy thread too.

Let me know when your work is published. I'll send a copy to my feminist friends. /thumbsup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

teehee hee...I love this thread. If it wasn't so lore breaking, I'd be asking to marry him /wub.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> (anyone else reminded of John Cleese's character in Fawlty Towers?)

How about the fact that he's utterly racist, pig-headed (to the point where he is blinded by all logic and reason), a coward, and not very physically attractive?
I don't understand the love for him--at all!

Where, yes, Neloth is arrogant, but rightfully so..he's wise, has a lot to show for his years, fights for himself, and he's actually quite amusing.

@ OP
Ulfric is the only character I like in Skyrim... and probably only because he was in 13th Warrior.

Lo there do I see my father /gun.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':gun:' />

We have dismissed that claim.

The only thing I don't understand about Neloth is why he wastes time making staves. Real mages do it manually.

For sure! Maybe he just likes to give them out as party favors.

What do you mean, dismiss? You just choose to ignore the fact he's a Tyrant? You're just cool with that? Thats not a "claim" it's a fact.

Ulfric is an empty shell of a man. Even the Thalmor gave up on him.

This comment confuses me. This is the thread for Neloth.

Yes, that's actually an interesting part of it. He wasn't protected by fate in Morrowind, so his death was in potential canon.

With Dragonborn, that's pretty much been established to have not happened. Unless we actually just killed a Neloth clone in Morrowind. Or perhaps canis root tea has exceptional recovery abilities! /smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

Honestly, I'm going with Bethesda deciding to bend their tradition on upholding potential canon.

I was quoting Mass Effect. And telling you to buzz off. The subtlety was apparently wanting.

An excellent character, indeed. It was refreshing to see such a developed personality in the DLC.

What's the creepy sound you hear sometimes in Neloth's house? Like a giant gong.

He just did not care being killed. He is a Telvanni Wizard after all. He just doesn't give a crap. /biggrin.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />

And don't underestimate him.
He is quite powerful, lore-wise. It's easy to think he is a self-absorbed fool, but instead he is a self-absorbed power house.
