The Unofficially Somewhat Official Neloth Fangirlreally devo

Post » Sun Oct 20, 2013 4:40 am

Being a PC user who is replaying morrowind due to the release of the sound and graphics overhaul 3.0, Neloth survived? What about Divayth Fyr? Do we at least get to know what happened to him?

Skyrim is my first TES game. I already like Neloth. The man is a pretty pompous guy but he's cool about it. Its in a way where you love him for it.

Didn't he ask you to make hims Canis Root Tea? I figured 'hey lets go ask the steward for a recipe or something'. Nope...nada.

He makes me laugh quite a lot. I love asking for enchanting training and getting denied.

The best part was after one of the quest when he ask for Verona.

SPOILER!

"I want soe Canis root tea.. Verona! oh wait she's dead" He said it in such an awesome voice I was actually crying from laughter.. Best thing in any video game I've ever heard.

Agreed. I loved that. I facepalmed but I was laughing so much because of how nonchalant he was about it.

Gah I ended up here WTH lol

Haven't had anything spoiled yet. Don't know what this guy sounds like or looks like.

Love triangle? doubtful heh, at least not with Salessi who is pictured with Ulfric that got quoted of mine. Now maybe my Ruth Ann character... she has on many times taken the wolf brothers Farkas and Vilkas for some hunting shall we say. /biggrin.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />

Neloth cracks me up when you give him a book. He makes a copy, and makes an offhand comment about how you should probably keep the original, as the books can be quite unsafe. "But YOU'LL be fine. Of course. Of course, of course...."

I love when he first inspects you for any signs of 'problems' from reading the book.

I got a laugh out of how he reacts upon learning you completed the main quest. "Oh, you did? Well that's what you hero types do right?"

This is all well and good, and I'm a huge fan of Master Neloth (he's my favorite character in TES V). But I'm saving myself for the officially Unofficial Miraakmance and appreciation thread! /lmao.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':lmao:' />

Don't mind me, move along...too much cinnamon wine...

He's saying that that all that time in Apocrypha has gotten him into tentacles.

Speaking of tentacles and Neloth, (not what you think)
Spoiler
Has anyone here done enough of his radient quests to find the one where he tests a silence spell on you? Instead it makes your blind and tentacles grow out of your eyes! It's quite disgusting.

The first part I get /tongue.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> it's the second part that...well, nevermind.

About the spoiler tag info. I HAVE to do that! If only to just see/hear Neloth's reaction! /rofl.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> Now I want to load the game again. Quit on it because the loading screens became unbearable...but Neloth warrants a little suffering.

Does anyone know if Neloth reacts when you move stuff around (or bump into stuff) like the other NPCs do? You know, when they say "don't do that, put that down" etc.

I'm also thinking of summoning a dremora lord and then attack him (the dremora) just to see the Master's reaction. /evil.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> The mages at the college are always going "My money's on the big one!" when I train on my dremoras.

It's pretty funny, if a bit disturbing. The only problem is that you may have to do quite a few other radients for him before that one pops up. Most of them will have you traveling back to Skyrim.

I found Neloth well-written and a good "love to hate" sort of character, but that dialogue option that he has when you first arrive at Solstheim and start talking to him, where he refers to what he views as "the lesser races" kind of struck a nerve with me. Maybe I've just been reading too many "Stormcloaks vs Imperials" and "Is Ulfric Racist?" kind of threads, haha.

Just a joke. I had to.
No idea about which part? The calimari, or hentai bit? If it's one of those, then google is your friend.
