On some rare games, I was actually able to do 2 of the best things of gaming -- Using an Xbox 360 controller to play a game, and Modding. Does anybody know if Skyrim will allow us to use this? Probably a bit early, but then again, the earlier you ask, the more likely it's going to be put in the game. Thanks!

I would really like a setting to allow you to use a controller more easily. I don't mind the mouse and keyboard but a controller is just so much more comfortable. I got my controller to work somewhat with Oblivion but not perfect.

Yeah, exactly what I said. 360 controllers are one of the best things in gaming. So you COULD use a controller on PC Oblivion?
Is this sarcasm from the fact that I stated something obvious or did you just forget that you can't hook up a wireless Xbox 360 to controller to a PC? O_o

No, I seriously forgot something so simple. I am a serious retarrd. lol
I use the http://www.amazon.com/Xbox-Wireless-Gaming-Receiver-Windows-Pc/dp/B000HZFCT2 with http://www.pinnaclegameprofiler.com/ and it works fine.
Well yeah, but what I meant was you can't just activate the controller and expect the PC to read it. I don't see why you wouldn't just buy the USB controller which doesn't require battery replacement instead of a new accessory. Unless for some reason it doesn't work.

No you're not. The simplest things are the easiest to overlook.

Yeah, I'm just going to buy a USB controller. GAWD I still feel like a retarrd for making this thread. THANK YOU Idon'tunderstand for pointing it out to me.

Yea, I don't understand why people buy an extra part when they could just buy a wired controller.

I got my adapter on the cheap for $10, and I already had wireless controllers for my Xbox so the adapter for me was a more inexpensive choice, plus the benefit of wireless freedom.

Seriously, don't give them the wrong idea. They should improve the usage of the keyboard for the PC-version, especially with the interface. If we start to use controllers/gamepads with our PC, they have an excuse!
I think 360 controllers can sometimes sync up pretty well with PC games. All you need is a charging kit for your wireless controller so that you have a USB jack to put into the computer, if you have a wired controller, well you're already in business.
When I first heard about this I thought about selling my xbox360 and starting to play PC games but not enough games support this so I still use my [censored] pc for things like webbrowsing and forums and leave the games to Xbox360. (and PS3 for sony exclusives)
Oblivion required ini edits to get the controller working, but New Vegas was plug-n-play and worked without a hitch. I don't think there will be a problem.
