I thought I would make a topic devoted to vampires and those that love to play them, similar to the thread "The Wolf's Den" that's for werewolves. I found it rather odd that there wasn't already a topic like this.

But anyways, feel free to discuss your vampires, playstyle, favorite vampire mod(if any) and anything vampire related. And, if anyone wants to, feel free to set up challenges for each other.

I'll begin: I've always been a vampire fan, every since I was a kid and first watched "Interview with the Vampire"..well actually I liked vampires long before that movie but it made me love vampires even more. So naturally I would love playing one in a video game, especially with mods...and lets face it, playing a vampire in Skyrim, or Oblivion, svcks without mods, although it's not as bad in Skyrim.....especially with Dawnguard.....But with the better vampires mod and flying mod I fell like Lestat sometimes flying around Skyrim, sneaking up on bandits and draining them dry. Playing a vampire has never been so much fun in Skyrim.

I usually play diffent types of vampires too, like some are evil and will feed, or kill, indiscrimenantly, and some are good and only drink the blood of evil doers or use vampire seduction to feed without killing. Some are warriors, mages, assassins...or a mixture of the three. I always play vampires, lol. I use an alternate start mod so I usually skip helgen and begin as a vampire.

She's now the dragonborn, and I would consider her good aligned as she doesn't kill innocents and performs quest to help those in need..and not to mention she's about to save the world from Alduin!

Male Dunmer, Vampire Lord, Mage.

He's the Dragonborn, he's killed Miraak, Archmage, Thane of Solitude, and most importantly he's a good standing member of the Great House Telvanni.

oh yeah, I almost forgot... he's about as evil and conniving as a person could get.

edit = I forgot; Ashur has also killed Harkon because, well... Ashur Szyn doesn't share power.

I almost always play vampires in TES games. They are just so fun. I also use the Better Vampires Mod. The Vampire Hunters from that can absolutely wreck a town. Current svckhead is a Vampiric Level 5 (by BV's levels of vampirism) and can drink low level vampires for sustenance. I have yet to do Dawnguard. I'm just having too much fun messing with the good townsfolk of Skytrim.
