No, I was just teaching it to walk down the stairs properly ;]

And how about that altar with the skull?

Oh, I missed that one! Just checked again. That'll be great as well! :D

It might take a while! But thanks! :)

Update time:

Today I upgraded the main hall of Greywind Keep with the new textures and made use of the vampireskull I requested. Now the hall oozes out the power that House Serentin stands for. Hope you enjoy the pics:

Is the Vampire faction going to be located in just that Keep? Like one main location instead of Vanilla where one faction would be located in many different caves.

It will be House Serentin's main base. But several covens are spread around Tamriel. Have a look at the main post for some additional information.

EDIT:

Insanity: Thanks for the positive feedback! It's always nice to hear! If I need help it will probably be on scripting stuff in the future. I just svck at that! :yuck:

I like it. It has a very sinister feeling to it, but also the feeling of..... refinement?

I think that describes it very well, as I'm aiming for such a atmosphere. :)

No problemo! I can handle screams when they are justified. :) Still, it's nice to know that people think the mod is heading in the right direction. I tend to post updates pretty often, to inform people on the progress and asking for feedback. That keeps me motivated.

Yup, well you keep the updates coming and I am sure you will receive positive feedback in return, I agree it does motivate you and keeps ya pressing on :D

Anyway enough of this sidetracking, lets keep this clean so there is more room for updates :)

Technically, probably yes (for now). But I see my new mod as a replacer of SVVR. So you would basically have two House Serentin's and that's not really cool. So I wouldn't advice to use both.

Totally awesome. I have today just downloaded your original mod to put on and have a look at. I love the look of this. I'm a huge fan of the Terran Vampires mod and read the post from Bad Company re a collaboration. Would be totally, totally breath-taking (if vamps could breathe that is). Will be following this forum. Can't wait for the beta. I'm so in awe of you modders, I have ideas just not the courage to put them into practice. Keep up the fantastic work please the screenshots are amazing.

How are thing's progressing? Had a great deal of fun looking at the screenshots and reading the ideas and concepts. Look forward to the next lot of pics, it really is a huge amount of work you're undertaking. Really excited about this mod. I love good stories, mods that you can get your teeth into and experiment till you get things right etc.

Thanks. It is a lot of work indeed and I don't have tons of time to spend on modding alone. Progress is slow but steady and I will get there eventually. No new pics for now I'm affraid.

Thanks. And thanks for the offer. As it stands I don't need any retexes done as I do most of the retexes/colortweakes myself. It's one of things I enjoy alot when modding. But I'll keep your offer in mind. :)

Wow, I'm liking the look of the screenshots! What I'm liking even more, though, is the sense of direction and focus for this project compared to SVVR. Keep up the good work. :)

Wish I had time to contribute this time round, but alas, in the small amount of free time I've had recently I haven't found the motivation to do any modding.

Anyhow, take it easy. I look forward to the finished result.

This may have already been asked, and i know it's early days but are there any plans to make this compatible with the Unholy Darkness mod by Madmole?

Hey Nick, good to see you! Real life got really into the way of doing any modding at all, so I dissapeared for a while. And yeah, SVVR was an unguided projectile sometimes. I tried to put in as much features as possible in an insanely short amount of time. Now I can use the experience I gained from making SVVR for this project. I don't feel any presure now, contrary to SVVR. So it will be a much better and more solid end-product once this is finished. :)

I'm very excited about Unholy Darkness as well. Madmole is doing an amazing job and I think our two mods should/could compliment eachother very well. I avoid changing the vampire game mechanics, so my mod will basically be a guild/quest mod for vampire players. We have in common that both mods will treat the vanilla vampires as rogue/feral vampires, so that's certainly a big plus. Once both projects are done there will always be room to look at possible tweaks or fixes to avoid serious conflicts.

Small update:

To keep the exterior in line with the interior to match the Archpatriarch's room I added the same windows on the outside. I really like how it looks now. Not sure if showed the garden yet, so added a pic of that as well.

Thanks!

Greywind Village lays in the shadows of Greywind Keep. Most of the villagers are employed by the house of Serentin, but only a few know of the true identity of their masters. Yet the villagers are pretty save from vampires, as House Serentin employs them as daytime guards, miners or laborers. It's beneficial for both parties.

Cockeye's Inn has been a longtime resting place for folks traveling between Hammerfell and Cyrodiil. The miners and off duty guards can form a rough crowd and many shady deals are closed in dark corners or in the rooms for rent.

The inn should be a blast to make and visit, as I have some neat ideas for it.
