Do the vendors ever sell Daedric/Dragon armor/weapons?

Post » Tue Dec 06, 2011 4:49 pm

I wonder? I want my heavy armor character to wear Daedric armor at least eventually but really wouldn't want to level up blacksmithing if I don't really have to

I have bought a few Daedric arrows from a vendor at lvl 32 , so I think theres hope... but has anyone higher level seen the whole things there?

Not sure about vendors selling the stuff but I've definitely found both dragon and daedric gear in random caves/dungeons.

I suppose thats re-assuring in its own right........ if you do that maybe you could get the armor at like level 10 then? Because like really? Just 10k gold and some time? Sounds like something a level 10 could do lol

Took me like 20 minutes and around 6k. And yeah all you have to do is go to Whiterun, buy all the iron and leather you can from the smithy girl outside and guy inside, and make iron daggers until you run out. Sell the daggers to the girl, wait about 24 hours, then do it again. And keep doing that until you hit 100.

it woulda taken me shorter but I didn't realize I could make stuff out of just leather until around level 70 smithing.

I'm level 40 and I haven't seen a single piece of Daedric or Dragon gear period in the game.

I don't believe you can buy it. I'm level 53 and haven't found any sign of it.

No, Vendors do not have Daedric. Level 46 according to the guide is when Daedric starts showing up weapon wise, 48 for the armor.

so to finally stop this discussion i am lvl 65 now. stop posting false things guys. a poll wont change the truth.

you can find ANY ARMOR (YES EVEN DRAGON) outside of smithing in the world. but the chances for deadric and dragon armor are very very very small so its FAR easier with smithing.

i found nearly all deadric weapons in dragon chests (ancient dragon wordwall chests they respawn after awhile) after lvl 45+ but armor is way way way more rare. yes even dragon armor can be found at high leveles and yes even VENDORS have a even smaller chance to sell deadric and dragon saw a deadric bow 2 days ago on the vendor in whiterun.

just yesterday i found a pair of dragonplate boots in a dungeons chest. so its just all randomness all over again beth didnt learn in this part at all compared to oblivion. they just used pure randomness again. only this time you can skip this nonsense with entchanting and smithing completly and get even better results because of upgrading.

but why even bother with low RANDOM chances when theres easy smithing everything AND making it far better than normal found by only investing 5-6 perks.

deadric armor can also be gotten from the 90 conjuration quest.

I only saw a dragonbone helmet in a cave, not at any vendors. I have smithing 100 and crafted my own daedric armor and weapons. I'm level 49.

[censored] they need to fix smithing in this game. Thats [censored]. It would be so much cooler if the Daedric and Dragon armor was rare, but just knowing how easy it is to make with smithing, I know Im eventually going to go down that route.

You'll get the required perk points from levelling your Smithing (you gain 1 level per 10 skills you increase).

Their site keeps not loading for me , probably too much traffic bogging it down
