Short Description: Welcome to the Visions of Time Amusemant Park! As the creator of Cyrodiil's Second Amusemant Park, I humbly bid you welcome to one of the most remarkable places you will ever encounter in the world of Tamriel. You may have already heard of the Amusemant Park of Cyrodiil near Anvil (established March 28, 2010). If not, know that we are a sister park operating just south of Leyawiin.

Our establishment is split into four different regions: The Entrance Plaza, The Wilderness of Time (West Area), The Seasons of Time (East Area), and Zurx's Provincial Exchange (North Area). The Gateway links all four areas together. Unfortunately, we are still very much in development; this "Initial Release" means that only the West, Gateway, and Entrance Plaza areas are open to visitors. Please allow time for the other two areas to be completed.

The park is truly a magical place. Our engineers have constructed revolutionary rides and attractions, including The Ayleid Explorer (Cyrodiil's first rollercoaster) and Revenge of the Lich King (re-make of the popular attraction from the Anvil park). Joining this lineup is the new Anyammis Hotel, which seeks to revolutionize the Cyrodiilic inn system through unique features such as the option to book multiple nights at one time, the option to book in advance, and an intelligent and competent staff that automatically checks guests out and assists with lost items. Speaking of people, one may notice that this park is much more crowded than the first. I am proud to announce that park attendance has nearly tripled from the last park; meaning a less empty park for those of you crowd-mongers.

Plus, the park is ever-expanding. Right now, only the West Area and Central Plaza regions are open to customers. However, we plan to develop and open our North and East Areas in a very short time. Please check back regularly to see if they're completed! But enough introduction, let us delve right into the park.

I. Install: Put the VisionsofTime.esp and the MathFunctions.esm in your Oblivion/Data folder. Put the meshes, textures, and sounds into the Oblivion/Data folder. OBSE is not required.

II. Location: The park is located just south of the city of Leyawiin. You can, as some call it, "fast travel" to the area or take a nice swim. Once there, simply board the wooden rowboat on the dock and you will be transported to the park

III. Rides/Attractions

The Ayleid Explorer (The Wilderness of Time/The West Area): Embark on Cyrodiil's very first rollercoaster! You'll roll down gentle slopes and ascend rolling hills in a simple wooden cart surrounded by idyllic yet majestic redwoods. Like the rest of the attractions at the park, the cart will run by itself; no player operation necessary! The attractions is located at the far end of the West Area. Simply talk to the Breton staffmember at the entrance of the ride and he'll let you on. PLEASE wait at least an hour using the wait button or gametime before re-riding the ride. This bug will be fixed in the final version.

The Excavation (The Wilderness of Time/The West Area): An interesting carnival game. Ever felt robbed by Vahatecen's superficial nature? Now you can finally participate in some "archeology" of your own. Situated nearby The Ayleid Explorer, the Excavation is simply a small rocky outcropping. Or at least it seems so. See, for a small gold price, you can actually use a pickaxe to break off chunks of the rocks. Then use the nearby trough to clean the samples. If your lucky, you'll find anything from Ayleid clutter to an invaluable Ayleid royal crown. If your not, well, better luck next time. This attraction is located on your right from where you enter the West Area. To buy supplies for the dig, see the attending Imperial staffmember.

Quick Note: I think I might have made the instructions for the Excavation game to vague. In order to play the game, buy a brush and a pickaxe from the attendant. Then activate a "mineable rock" to recieve a chunk of rock. With the rock in your inventory, activate the trough to see if you uncovered a prize or not.

The Revenge of the Lich King (The Wilderness of Time/The West Area): And finally the most popular ride in park history makes a return. This ride may seem similar to the original, but it actually features several differences. For example, a whole new introduction based off Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Forbidden Eye has been added. Instead of Mara speaking to you, the Lich King offers you chilling praise and attempts to show you your deepest desires. You will then travel down one of three randomly chosen paths: Life, Power, or Wealth. Each path has it's own unique lighting and props; so make sure to keep riding the ride to see all of them. This attraction is located on your left from where you enter the West Area. To start the ride, simply talk to the Redguard staffmember in the second large room.

IV. Shops, Inns, and other Buildings

The Anyammis Hotel (Visions of Time Entrance): A four story hotel (two of which are room levels) located in the central plaza of the park. As explained in a post on the first page, the hotel includes an innovative check-in service that both allows multiple nights to be booked at once as well as allowing players to book a room ahead of time. It also features a "smart" hotel system that prevents items from being "forgotten" in the hotel room. Any items left in the provided drawers, desk, or chest will immediately be picked up by security upon checkout, where the guests may claim them. Please note that the hotel cannot be held responsible for "loose items", due to franchise regulations concerning "suspicious items". In addition, the hotel features a downstairs dining room, an outdoor pool, and a quiet lobby for study. This hotel is located in the large building in the entrance area. To start your stay, simple talk to one of the three hotel attendants behind the desks. They'll guide you through the rest of the process.

The Gift Shop (Visions of Time Entrance): A quaint little shop where you can buy some cool souvenirs from the park to take back to Cyrodiil. All goods are taken from the actual attractions. You can find the shop on your left as you enter the park.

The Hungry Bear Bar (Visions of Time Entrance): Buy a warm beverage or sip on some unique Hungry Bear's special brew. Or just sit back and relax in the warmth of the bar. Courtesy of the Hungry Dragon Restaurant Franchise. You can find the shop on your right as you enter the park.

The Information Booth (Visions of Time Entrance): If you ever lose yourself during your stay or simply wish to refresh your memory, visit this tent right next to the boat from which you entered the park. The staffmember can give you a handout that includes all information printed on this document. Wonderful, isn't it?

The Wilderness Picnic Area (The Wilderness of Time/The West Area): A relatively obscure backwoods dining area that includes a vendor who sells some food and beverages. The area is located between the Ayleid Explorer and the Excavation.

V. Ride Problems and Solutions

1. Revenge of the Lich King:
DO NOT WALK through the ride; we have specific mechanisms in place that will be negatively affected by such an act.
DO NOT OPEN any menus, wait interfaces, message boxes, while onboard the ride. Our music player is extremely sensitive; any menus will immediately cause it to malfunction.

2. The Ayleid Explorer:
DO NOT WALK through the ride; we have specific mechanisms in place that will be negatively affected by such an act.

3. On a side note, the voice acting is a little off. Sorry about that.

VI. Mod Compatability Issues

While I have taken caution to avoid confict with UL, I cannot guarantee that all mods that modify the sea south of Leywaiin are completely safe. Use caution when activating these mods.

VII. Credits

Hazard and cowl1787 for the horse cart

Li-Hsin Huang for the song Legion's Rally

Da Mage for his mine rails

Phitt for the "rope pulley" mesh

Everyone who lended support or encouragment to me during this difficult process.

Thank you for reading, and I'll see you in the park.

Small update. I accidently forget to add an .esm file necessary to run the mod and a single mesh file. If you haven't downloaded these, go TES Nexus and get the update.

Thank you,

So, the initial release is out, and it should give you guys something to explore while I work on the rest of the park.

Now, let's get back down to business: I've decided to immediately commence work on finishing the park, with a release date hopefully in late spring or early summer. The good news is most of the buildings meant for the other park areas are either partially built or fully planned. That leaves most of the work in scripts, NPCs, and exteriors.

A taste of what is to come?

Seasons of Time: Also known as the East Area, this vibrant region sharply contrasts with the worn and ancient Wilderness (West Area). Expect newer buildings and structures that echo various seasons of time. First up is The Encounter: The Legend of Sleepy Hallow. One of the largest rides in the park, this attraction follows the famed legend of The Headless Horseman. Expect a high speed escape from this night-cloaked rider. Next is Fort Relsus: a reconstructed Imperial fort which bustles with activity. Tag alongside recruits as they go about their daily routines, or even become one of them. A bed, weapons, and provisions will be set aside for any willing player. Finishing the lineup will be a small carnival game; this is still to be decided.

Zurx's Provincial Exchange: The North Area is my personal favorite region. The area is split up into five different "pavilions"; each pavilion represents one of five provinces in Tamriel. They are as follows:

Hammerfell: Walk through an area based on a combination of Daggerfall and the adventure-game Redguard. Perhaps visiting a unique (TBA) store will give you a good feel of what its like back in Hammerfell. This province is the only one to include a ride: The Manor of Lord Lukin. This sinister and thriller ride is unique in the emphasis on scaring the player silly. Expect a dark atmosphere combined with a bloody and terrible story of a Hammerfell noble who sold his soul for eternal life.

Morrowind: Take a look inside the two unique buildings here. One, a nursery, gets you up close to plants found in the game Morrowind and transported to Cyrodiil. The second, a bar, sells some unique Morrowind foods for your pleasure.

Cyrodiil: Based off the Imperial City, this section includes a general store that will always bring you back home to Cyrodiil.

Skryim: The proud warriors of Skyrim upkeep a fine Mead Hall on the slopes of their area. Take a look inside for some unique furniture and tapestries. Or visit Hoager's Shields, which offers some interesting shields for the adventurer.

Valenwood: This lush wooded province offers a bow shop and a small inn. Note that the inn is a single-night vanilla inn; it does not act like the Anyammis Hotel.

Well, there's a taste of things to come. Already I am excited for this final release. Please check back for more updates in the future.

Thank you for reading!

Hey fellow modders,

I thought I would give you an update on what's going on with the development of the next park. I've been focusing in the East Area, as it is the most complicated of the two regions. Sleepy Hallow has made some rapid progress; the real challenges lie in cluttering the area with trees, houses, and NPCs. I expect it to be done by the end of this month.

Hammerfell's Manor of Lord Lukin has made some great progress, at least in concept. However, the ride itself is mainly filled with thrills and chills; no major mechanics.

Finally, I want to announce my planned withdrawal from TES4 modding. Due to an upcoming Skyrim release and a building schedule, I've decided that the Visions of Time Final Release will be my last mod. Although I may continue working on Medieval London, I have cancelled all other projects I had planned. Anyway, I'd like to extend a special thank you to the community for supporting, giving me ideas, and downloading my mods. I appreciate everything this community has done, and couldn't ask for a better two years of modding.

Thanks again,

Kroot

Okay, quick update.

Sorry for the absence; I've been kinda putting off this mod for a while.

The official release date for the final release will be April 23, 2011. So just over a month from now.

Zurx's Provincial Exchange is finally be built. Currently working on Skyrim.

The other rides are also progressing in construction; hopefully more news soon.

Thanks,

Kroot

And I did it again.

I'm really sorry guys, I keep putting off this mod and hoping it will magically work itself out.

I'm going to try to get this mod done asap; the real problem is the grueling task of the scripting and creating NPC packages.

The Manor of Lord Lukin is approximately 80% done. I just need to add in sound and scripts.

Fort Relsus and The Encounter: Sleepy Hallow are approximately 70% done each. I just need NPCs and clutter for Fort Relsus and clutter for The Encounter

Zurx's Provincial Exchange is the big one; I haven't done much except build one of Skyrim's buildings. Hopefully this will pick up soon.

Thanks,

Fellow modders,

I have extremely good news. I was able to recover some work for Zurx's Provincial Exchange, including Morrowind, Imperial City, and Skyrim pavilions. This means that a lot of work was recovered, and the release date will not be postponed as much as originally thought. I'm going to post a release date: May 7th at the latest. April 30th will be a miracle, but it is possible.

I'm pleased to announce that Zurx's Provincial Exchange has just jumped from 15% done to nearly 75% done. Combined with the rest of the park, the only challenging things left to do is build a carnival game, voice some dialogue, write some scripts, and put in the NPCs.

Thanks,

Kroot

Fellow modders and members of the community,

Things are really picking up ever since the discovery of the once "lost" files of the provincial exchange.

Zurx's Provincial Exchange is completely done with the exception of Valenwood and the handful of wandering NPCs. I'll take a picture to help y'all visualize the beauty and magnificence of the place. In addition, The Legend of Sleepy Hallow is now 90% done, with Fort Relsus at approximately 70% done. The Manor of Lord Lukin is done. The TBA carnival game is the only thing not close to completion.

Here's a quick rundown of the new additions to the park. (Please see the first post for the initial attractions)

Zurx's Provincial Exchange

Hammerfell Pavilion:

The Redguard's Arsenal: Russel sells a variety of blades, bows, and arrows originating in the province of Hammerfell. A must for anyone looking for a good blade.

The Manor of Lord Lukin: The only ride in the provincial exchange, and without a doubt the scariest. This chilling and thrilling walkthrough follows the bloody tale of a Hammerfell noble who gave his soul for immortality. See if you can solve the riddle behind the "Lord of the Night". As this ride is a bit "sudden", I wish to warn those of you who are faint of heart to proceed into the manor with caution. To give you an idea, I still jump during the attraction, and I was the one who created the ride.

Morrowind Pavilion:

Helseth's Tavern: An inviting and cozy environment, a wide variety of unique Morrowind food, and a friendly ambience is all that proprieter Selstha can offer. Make sure to spend some time soaking up the atmosphere from the predecessor to TES4.

Morrowind Nursery: Finally, a place where you can sit down and enjoy some of the various plants and foliage imported straight from Morrowind. Open 24/7.

Cyrodiil Pavilion:

The Imperial Emporium: A small general store to bring you back to Cyrodiil when you miss it the most. Menirus sells various general goods at reasonable prices.

Skyrim Pavilion

The Skyrim Mead Hall: A grand tavern that allows you to sip on your favorite alcoholic beverage while enjoying the warmth and decor of Skyrim. Includes unique tapestries and rugs to improve the unique ambience.

Hoager's Shields: Hoager sells unique Skyrim-oriented shields with various patterns and insignias. A must for warriors.

Valenwood Pavilion

TBA

Seasons of Time

The Legend of Sleepy Hallow (The Encounter: Sleepy Hallow): The most expensive and extensive ride in the park's history. Board an old wooden cart and make your way home from the inn at Sleepy Hallow. During your perilous journey, you will come face to face with one of the great villains of all time: The Headless Horseman. Beware his wrath, for the only way to escape this notorious rider is to cross the old bridge by the river. Pray for mercy, for the Horseman shows none.

Fort Relsus: Experience the life of a Legion soldier in this fantastic exhibition of a reconstructed Imperial fort. Make sure to watch new recruits train and go about their daily routines. For those of you who are more adventurous, try your hand at a simulated skirmish with some Dremora archers in the "Battle Room". Or simply watch the guards as they change their watch at 8:00 and 20:00.

TBA Carnival Game

Well, that's it for now. Thanks for reading!

http://i623.photobucket.com/albums/tt317/Kaw434/ScreenShot16.jpg

Finally got a picture of Zurx's Provincial Exchange. I know it looks a little confusing, but here's what it is.

Starting from the right:
1. The Chorrol-like House and the two non-snowy rocks mark the Hammerfell Pavilion. The house is home to The Manor of Lord Lukin, while on the far right (off-screen) is The Redguard's Arsenal.
2. The Cheydinhal houses mark Morrowind's pavilion. The left building is Helseth's Tavern and the right one is the Morrowind Nursery.
3. The statue and Imperial-City looking column is the Cyrodiilic pavilion. If you look just beyond the column, you can see the Imperial Emporium.
4. On the far left, the snowy area marks the beginning of Skyrim's pavilion. Just to the left of the rock is Hoager's Shields, while The Skyrim Mead hall is across from the shield shop.

Now you may notice there are no lights. That's normal, I'm leaving them for after the completion of the NPCs.

Finally, you'll notice that Valenwood is not present. I know I should have finished Valenwood before I took the picture, but leaving it out allowed an unobstructed view of the other four provinces. Otherwise, trees would be blocking the way.

Thanks,

Kroot

New update.

Uh oh. Looks like I might have to do another postponement.

I apologize, things have come up and I haven't been able to work as much as I wanted to. Right now, the remaining NPCs are the biggest problem, I might not be able to get them all done in time. The rest is really just playtesting to make sure everything works.

If I do postpone, the release will be next weekend. This is ABSOLUTELY FINAL...I promise this time. Hopefully I won't have to.

Thanks for sticking with this project,

Kroot

Fellow modders,

I have some exciting news; the park is undergoing final playtesting and should be ready for release if everything goes smoothly. Right now, I'm looking at a late nighter today or a release tommorrow. Most of the work is actually packaging this big thing into a mod release.

Almost there,

Return to IV - Oblivion
