[RELz] The Vvardenfell Libraries [Thread 2]

Here is the list of fixes so far:
Blue = fixed and tested.
Green = fixed not yet fully tested.
Red = will not be done.

- Asking about joining "The League" resulting in a dialogue loop until first quest started.
- Incorrect catalogue in Sadrith Mora.
- A few typos.
- Bad area and door name labels.
- The book "The Deep Folk" had no text.
- A few dialogue responses have been added/extended to give a "little" more information.
- "Nolore" the generic topics.
- Sifkining quest update given in Pelgiad before quest started.
- Ghostgate - Pub quest topics not alway available when needed

- Quest updates about stolen books when not on quest.

These next two are the cause of most of the reported problems - and are what are taking the time to test. :)
- Scripts conflicting if trying to do both quest lines at the same time.
- Once promoted to Head unable to do League quest line.

Thought long about this one and decided...
- Refectory gets too crowded. ? It's meant to be ? have you ever gone to a busy one that's not ???

Reported Conflicts:
- "NOM" in Sadrith Mora. ? both of my building have been moved.

- "Leaves of Lorien." ? no fix
workaround posted by "JennyK" - The easiest way around that is to run to Elenna Isle before loading Libraries, otherwise make sure that Lorien loads after Libraries, and then disable the two boulders on the bridge.
- "Houses for Sale". ? no fix
- "Indybank". ? no fix
- "Sauron's Abode." - no fix
workaround posted by "Froderick"- This large house is almost directly across from the road near Pelagiad from one of the houses added by TVL. But it is largely solvable by loading TVL before SA. There remains a smallish gap where the TVL house is slightly floating over the landscape on it's low side, but it closes the huge gash in the landscape that is there without changing load order.

If anyone has found a problem not listed above then please let me know...
If I don't know about it I can't fix it !!!

To nolore a topic, you filter its entries for:

notlocal nolore == 0

I have a couple more, then...

the text in the King Edward books was incomplete in many (all?) volumes

I went into a house in Ald-ruhn ("A----'s house") - forget exact name - and got quest updates about stolen books when I looked at the books, but I didn';t have that quest.

The only problem I had with the Refectory being too crowded was when I needed to talk to one of the professors and they were back in a corner and difficult to get to without climbing over the tables. No one said anything, but I thought it was poor etiquette to do so. :shakehead:

Bye-the-bye, I gather the re-upload at PES is just for the comment noting the soon to be released update.

Yes thanks... did find that one out... already added it to most of the generic responses.

Haven't noticed this... so will check it out.

Thanks.

oops.... didn't realise just editing the text would re-post it...

Still pushing it to the top again won't hurt ;)
Hope I don't get in to trouble... :bolt:

Did you get the one I messaged you about from the Inn in Pelgiad? I didnt see it on your fix list, though Im sure you took care of it.

I did come across the stolen books in Ald'ruhn as well getting the quest entry without the quest. But I see you noticed that one :D

I actually noticed that house in Ald'ruhn with the books because the name stuck out - "A--'s house" [small "h" on house].

It's a minor point, but I think in general it's nice to make new cells fit in with the local naming convention, i.e. "Ald-ruhn, A--'s House".

Thanks for reminding me... I had forgotten that one... but I did fix it at the time you found it.

Just a couple of Journal entry typos I happened to spot.

"It appears there is more to this prophecy than I knew. I have no wbeen told more about the prophecy and what I must do in order to restore balance to the world. Apparently there are two blades and I have to return both of these Blades too they're rightful place."

I really like this idea. Should be good for a more relaxing MW experience.

Even the original mod was enjoyable.

I liked the flow of the quests (although it can be a bother bouncing all over the island), even if I did encounter problems due to unforeseen circumstances (that The Wanderer has corrected). Now that sentence contains a lot of different subject content; sloppy, but I will leave it for interpretation.

It appears there may be a problem on PES at the moment :(

I get a page ERROR 404 when testing the download...

I have emailed them so hopefully it will be sorted soon :)

Not if you do the quests ;)

Sorry...

Hi Sieboldii :)

It would appear that I am going to bring one of my older PCs out of retirement to check out the new Libraries that have been recently encountered. :hubbahubba:

Aside from boulders and a tree on the causeway needing to be deleted there is a ground shift between the causeway and the back of the Library HQ.

I do not remember a Library/Indy Bank problem (I am not running Indy Bank with BE).

Did anyone else have trouble with MGE distant land creation because of this mod (v1)? Is there a fix or am I the only one lucky enough to have had this problem?

Haven't tried it lately, but maybe it helps to disable creation of statics?

I like the distant statics, so thats not going to happen. Guess I'll just keep disabling it whenever I need to recreate the distant statics.

Can anyone give me some instructions on what I'm actually supposed to do in the quest to visit all the pubs? The instructions weren't very clear, even in the Quest book. Are there specific topics I'm supposed to ask about?

Visit the pubs/taverns located in the major vanilla Morrowind towns and talk to the bartenders. They will have an unfamiliar beverage dialog topic (there aren't that many beverages) to ask about. Your journal will update when you have them all. All-in-all it was a disappointing quest, necessary to move along.

I'd be interested to know what the topic is. Just so I know I got the right one.
