Welcome to the war room, the place where stories are over exagerated and plentiful (hopefully). To start things off why dont you sit on down in front of old grand daddy's chair so I can recollect stories of the war, you see child, it was as black as an ace of spades when suddenly the legion tracer rounds were lighting up the sky. There was but me and my buddy Boone against more legion soldiers than there are blades of grass in all of Arkansas.....

Ok, for real this time....

One time me and Boone were all like "what do you wanna do today?" and I was like "I dunno what do you wanna do today?" then we stumbled upon cottonwood grove and Boone took out his rifle and was like "I know what I want to do today" so we sat up in the mountains and picked legion off with our sniper rifles then suddenly a huge bomb fell and killed everything. Idk I cant think of any interesting stories...what do ya'll have to share?

Once I was told to find Ranger Station Foxtrot and went the wrong way.


400 Cazadors and 56 stimpacks later, I'd realized I went the wrong way.

God, I hate finding that place. I like when followers get poisoned by cazadors though (at least not on hardcoe where they can die) because the firefight will be long done and we'll be walking and just out of the blue Boone will collapse and be unconscious for a bit and I'll be like :huh:

It was me and my Machete Gladius, alone in the Camp Guardian Caves, I'd left Boone to guard Private Halford, I'd hopped down from a ledge. No sooner than I'd landed I was face-to-torso with the biggest, meanest, ugliest, most horrible thing you could imagine, his eyes and fins were a-glowing and I knew I'd found the meanest father-raqer of 'em all, and he was big and nasty and ugly and horrible and horrible all sorts of mean, bad, things and he looked at me and said "Kid...(Boone shot something back where he was, Idk)... I'm gonna cut you with my claws." and I proceeded to swing my Machete Gladius with the circles and arrows and a paragraph on the back of- he stopped me right there and said "Kid... I have a high DT." So I got out my AMR and proceeded to shoot him in the head and he said "Kid.. I have a high HP as well." and started jumping up and down yelling "KILL! KILL! KILL!" and he started jumping up and down down with me and we was both jumping up and down yelling "KILL! KILL! KILL!" and Boone came in...

... and he shot it to death and said to me "Huh, it's gone." and I remembered I set him to aggressive and he proceeded to run around yelling "KILL! KILL! KILL!" and shooting all the Lakelurks.

once with me and boone, at the repconn headquarters, i opened a door, and right in front of it was a ghoul.

boone put a round in its chest, and right as slomo player view went into effect, i put a round in its head.

we both shot it 4 times with semi auto weapons.

BEFORE it even hit the ground.

(side note, anyone notice how currently almost all the tales are of boone?)

Ever see the Legendary Deathclaw?.....well, Obsidian gave it the wrong name, its supposed to be called Satan because thats what it is, Satan on Earth. Dont fight it, dont even look for it, and God help you if you take its name in vain. Even talking about it is a bad omen. But if you are a soul brave enough to test your physical and spiritual power (because it WILL try to eat your soul) then travel to Dead Wind Caverns, bring your best weapons and bring a friend or two, better yet bring an army.

Edit: at above post, yes lol its only because Boone is the cream of the crop of cool companions. I never leave home without my Boone.

It was the Lakelurk King, that thing is difficult, its sonic blast is as powerful as a deathclaw's claw, and its claw attack kgnores DT, I had 42 DT and in two swipes I had like no health. AMR headshot did like 10% of its health.

An assassin went to forlorn hope for revenge. Wearing his disguise he planted c4 all around camp forlorn hope and after proceeded to the tallest tower above the camp and assassinated the veteran ranger up there he then switched disguise to avoid being comprimised. Then waited for nightfall. The moment darkness shrouded the camp beneath he drew his detonator, and with one last breath, unleashed his anger in the pull of a trigger before the camp lit up. He then Dissapeared into the night. Nobody the wiser.

Well i was on black mountain and i had OH BABY! and had that one perk when i could knock people over with my melee weapon so i hit a super mutant of the hill and in mid air i shot him dead.I shot a death claw in the head and when he died he did a back flip.

:lol: nice, that reminds me of the time I killed that super mutant lady who's name escapes me, but she is the radio broadcaster on the top of Black Mountain and theres a quest to kill her so I shot her dead in VATS and her body cart-wheeled in slow motion and landed on a rooftop that was un-reachable....I completed the quest but since I couldnt reach her body I couldnt get the key off of her to loot the place....I was not a happy camper :stare:

Most memorable combat moment for me was discovering that Cazadors could be easily killed by shooting their wings.

Oh, and me and Boone taking on the largest force of Legionaires ever and forgetting to bring mroe than 4 stimpacks.

I was taking a swim in the river, upon me were 15 lakelurks all taking a dip..... :bolt:
I love how lake lurks go in the water and just swim next to you growling. :poke:

I was trying to get that special mysterious revolver from the lonely wanderer next to Eldorado dry lake.

The strategy was to wound him and then disarm him, later to pick up his gun without the possibility of failing the quest "talent pool".

So i got back, aimed at him with my weakest gun in my inventory; my ratslayer. I shot him, but then the most ironic thing occured.
Out of nowhere, Mysterious Stranger (Lonley Wanderers FATHER) came and shot the poor boy about 4 times. Then, an awkward 30 seconds passed still in vats (anyone else have that stupid "long time in VATS" glitch?), and with Mr Mysterio directly behind me. It looked wrong.

The end.

Primm down to minus one bar of health no DT.
Three convicts with 9mm's shooting through the door frame of the room I took cover in.
My pc managed to take 2 out in V.A.T.s no AP's left.
The third shot three small bursts right at the PC, some how missing every shot as my PC pumped a clip from her 9mm into his chest.
