Prologue

Karth looked at Samantha, "Sis, please don't do this."

She turned around, her light blue eyes were like ice, her long dark hair was even darker in the Rivet City bar, "The Muddy Rudder." She slammed her pale fist on the table, "Karth, listen to me, I am your older sister, I will do what I want, when I want, to whomever I want."

He just stared at her, his green eyes showed fear. His black hair was short and a mop. His skin was slightly tanner than hers, but not much. He begged, "Sam, you're my sister, I can't let you go out and get yourself killed up north."

"Ever since she got that assault rifle, she's always wanting bigger and better. I will get her some combat armor if she decides she is serious, after all she just has that old dress. I've got a suit of combat armor, but that was a gift from my previous employers," Karth thought.

The light flickered, but Karth sipped his beer, he was only sixteen, but didn't care if he was drunk. Samantha said to him abrasively, "Listen Karth, I have no mutations, I want to join the Enclave, they're supposed to be recruiting up north in New York."

He sighed and walked out of the bar. He shouted, "Fine, do what you want, I am just looking out for you, Sis." The man gripped his backpack and pulled it open, he had about one-hundred caps, and Flak and Shrapnel were selling a suit of combat armor for seventy-five, and he could probably pick her up a combat knife as well. The metallic gray walls of the boat left a depressing aura in Karth's emotion, but he kept walking to the market.

It was filled with citizens, drinking, eating, buying chems. He walked over to Shrapnel, he was an elderly guy, he supposedly sold some weapons to the Lone Wanderer about fifteen years ago. "All right, pick up some combat armor and a pistol for Samantha," He said in his head. He told Shrapnel, "I got one-hundred caps for some combat armor and a ten-millimeter pistol, can I get some for my sister, she's going up north."

Shrapnel had a sleezy grin, "Samantha, really, thats a shame, I always liked her, tell you what kid, you're a good friend of Flak and me, I'll give it to you for seventy-five."

The teenager counted and pulled out seventy-five caps. Shrapnel opened his closet and pulled out a tan vest, tan pants, and boots. He then pulled out a large pistol, a ten-millimeter one and handed it to the customer who shoved it in his old backpack. Karth smiled weakly and walked down to "the Muddy Rudder."

Samantha was drinking, he threw the backpack at her and crept out of the bar and started trekking to their apartment.

Well this seems interisting. After the LW and has the Enclave in it.

Through the story is a little weak but that's probaly because it's the first Chapter.

The Brotherhood of Steel

As he walked through the gray boat he thought irritatedly, "Samantha, why does she have to argue with me, I may be younger, but I've saved her hide more than a few times." Karth opened the door and saw their beds, they were unmade as usual. Pre-War books were scattered about, last week's mole rat steaks were still on the plates.

Standing at the door was Samantha, she was in her old torn white dress that had blue flowers on it. She wiped a tear in her eye and said gently, "I'm sorry, Karth, it's just I want something more in my life."

"You're my only family, Sis, do what you want, but know if you do this, I am not going to save you again," He replied. Samantha sat down next to him, her eyes showed fear. He put his arms around her and tightly hugged her. The young woman started to cry on his shoulder, he didn't mind, tears wouldn't ruin his combat armor.

He comforted her, "Just be careful, all right, Sam."

She nodded. "She's afraid, but she is the one who wants this and I can't stop her," he thought. He got up, grabbed his chinese assault rifle and got out. As he walked he noticed some men walk towards their apartment. They wore a metallic black armor that had something like horns on it. In their hands they had plasma rifles.

It came to him quickly, "Enclave, but why aren't they attacking?" They opened the door and saw Samantha in her white dress with blue flowers.

One said to her, "My name is Master-Sergaent Stephen, you're coming with us, Samantha."

Karth squeezed through the spectators and noticed they tied her legs together, her hands behind her back, and put a bag over her face. He shouted, "Hey, that is my sister, leave her alone."

Muffled cries were heard under the bag, but then one of them hit her head with the butt of his gun. Karth lost all control, he took the gun out of the harness and shot at them, as fast as he could. He looked down and noticed a plasma burn in his chest, he fell to the ground, but everything felt like slow motion. He saw some other men in armor walk in, but this was T-45d Power Armor, he knew it. Finally he lost consciousness...

When he awoke he was in a steel-gray room with a Mr. Handy robot with a saw standing over him. It said, "The operation is complete, all damaged tissue has been removed and stimpacks have been applied to regrow lost tissue."

He asked curiously, "Where am I?"

A soft voice was heard, "The Citadel, we're the Brotherhood of Steel, we saw you get shot and heard your screams. We figure we can help you get revenge for what they did."

Karth turned his head and saw a woman, her hair was graying, it had a bit of red in it, she was caucasian and had a few wrinkles. She wore T-45d Power Armor and helped him up, "My name is Elder Sarah Lyons, welcome to the Citadel, you can join the Brotherhood of Steel and get your revenge, or you can walk out and let your sister die."

He sat up and said to her, "I would like to join, Elder."

now it's going to fast. Also I realy started to dislike when the Enclave are just evil men.

It realy has no reason to it. Why did they know the girls name. And I don't think the brother hood would just let someone join them just because his sister got taken. Also revenge isn't realy a thing I'm into.

No one ever wins

You see, there is one flaw with this. How do you know she didn't tell them to do that out of hatred towards her younger brother? Get him to come to the Enclave and try to kill them, and then get shot down. Also, the Brotherhood of Steel is few in number (recovering from Purifier/Air Base Crawler, they lost some troops, a lot of the few they had). Not everything is as it seems.
