The War of the 4th Era

Post » Fri Mar 28, 2014 7:54 pm

If I ever break free of Valdar and re-take Skyrim for her True Sons and Daughters. I shall then put my proposal for complete Tamrielic conquest to my fellow Priesthood. And with the blessings of AL-DU-IN, Skyrim will reign supreme once again, praise be to the Dragon.

Skyrim is small potatoes. The center of the wheel is the real prize.

The only dragon priest I'd support is Miraak

I know, hence: "complete Tamrielic conquest." We cannot do that if our home is infested with heretical Nords now can we?

But... He doesn't follow the Old ways. At least with me and the rest of the cult, Shor will get some proper veneration. Though, you can kiss Talos' heretical existence good-bye.

1. Who sides with who?

Humans, Orcs, Dark Elves, Bretons, and Argonians side with the Empire and the Wood Elves, Khajiit, and High Elves side with the Dominion.

2. Who do you side with?

The Empire of course!

3. Why, and how do you predict a winner?

The Empire has been with the TES series since the very beginning and it would be unwise for Bethesda to remove the Empire from existence; many Empire supporters, such as M'aiq, would probably riot outside the Bethesda HQ and protest to bring the Empire back.

Well, since he's Shor, and really I only support Talos because the Thalmor say nay, I'd rather worship Talos through Shor and Ysmir anyway.

Miraak could follow the old ways though. Not really clear. I'd rather take a chance with him though than showing support for that cur, AL DU IN.

LORKHAN for life!

Has Maiq forgotten about the Sack of Senechal back in the Second Era or the annexation of the Trans-Niben all of which where perpetrated by this "Empire" with impunity?

M'aiq still believes in the Empire. The Empire will return to their old glory soon.

Hmm, there's one: who would I fight for? Well, my character would fight for the Dunmer, obviously, but I'd go more with the Nords or Colovians. Badasses appeal to me - I may be tough compared to say, the Bretons of High Rock, or Nibeneans, because to them being the one with the most calloused hands just means you get left alone in the shower. They're no people to fight a war with. That being said the Orcs would tear me to pieces and the Argonians are just too alien.

So you want the Empire to screw with your beloved Elseweyr and Khajiit kin further?

As much as it svcks, the Dominion are the the only outsiders who have historically done you any good.

I peaked a Khajiit's curiosity once. It died.

Like I said before, what Empire? This thread is based on the premise that whats left of the Empire crumbles.

And all you really need to see how likely it is, is to apply logic. Empire< Pretty much everything else in Tamriel

My god, you and bear with those damn metaphors

They're like a rash of mating fruit-flies on the sensitive skin of a hyper-allergic person made of sugar and open wounds.

EDIT: That metaphor may have over-whisked an egg with inadequancy issues somewhat.

And yeah, the hell does that even mean? It looks like a guy...burning another guy...with a hose? ...wha? I dunno, my eyesight kinda svcks. Especially when my system is running on pure caffeine.

That one might be for one of their sci-fi games, I guess. Do Beth even have sci-fi games?

Anyway, we digress :)

What would you be in a Great War? Not what side, but what type of soldier? I'm guessing...berserker.
