William and Ellis are on their way to investigate the shooting, or William is staying to keep things settled.
Zoey, Marx, Vincent, Sarah, and Marie are at a campfire near the Notoh CDC Building. Zoey just left a note for William.
Kathy, Cain, MIRVIN, and Johnny Collins are in the lobby of the WPF (Warren Police Forces) Building, I think.
Stane is in the jail of the WPF along with three other prisoners
Ali has asked a question of Ellis and is now deciding if he'll follow William/Stane or go to the WPF/Warren Theatre for the moment
Madeline is in a small hotel overlooking Treacher's Ranch
Harry and his men have launched the attack and are on their way back to the Notoh Encampment
Guy Montag and Arthur Kaplan are in the Notoh CDC Building, keeping on an eye on Eli, Markus, and Nikolai
Eli Jessop and his men Markus and Nikolai followed Zoey from The Warren back to the Notoh Encampment

What's going on briefly....

Ellis sent Stane to jail to save face.
William and Ellis are having a debate.
Harry and his men will be attacking an outpost looking over The Warren as the debate nears an end.
Marx and Zoey are having some conflict as Marx is apparently tied with a group that orchestrated food riots before the war.
Evelyn, Marx's love interest, is looking for him in the wasteland with the remains of the Zodiac Empire
Kathy, Cain, MIRVIN, and Johnny Collins are working with William to try to figure out exactly what happened to Samuel and/or dig up dirt on Ellis
Madeline is in a hotel in The Warren looking upon Treacher's Ranch
Ali is watching the debates
Eli Jessop, brother of Samuel Jessop, and his men Markus and Nikolai are looking for The Warren to investigate the murder of Samuel Jessop
Guy Montag and Arthur Kaplan are just kind of watching things and helping support Zoey/Kathy/Cain/MIRVIN/etc.
The debate just ended, Ellis (and perhaps William) are going to investigate the shootings.
Zoey left a note for William and returned to the Notoh campfire
Eli Jessop and his men followed Zoey to the campfire
Arthur Kaplan and Guy Montag are keeping a close eye on the three new armed men who have showed up.

I won't be able to make any new ones for a long time, but if you'd like one of your character just send me as many descriptors of their face as possible. Feel free to post yours too, with as many people in this as there are I'm sure you guys can do some nice work. I used Inkscape if any of you are interested in it. You just make shapes and layer them one over the other.

Please keep all discussion directly related to the story as any General Chat will get this thread closed and will not be particularly beneficial to the hopes of keeping it and similar threads open in the future.

I'll just use this for the moment to say a bit about the characters I've created. I'll be gone soon and Venix will be controlling them if/as she sees fit.

Guy Montag: A long time follower of the Notoh Tribe. He is autistic, an idiot savant to be precise. He remembers neigh anything he reads but is socially quite awkward. Essentially post-apocalyptic Rain Man

Arthur Kaplan: Leader of the Notoh Tribe. Lots of mystery about precisely how they came to be and why they are still together. I'm going to send Venix a PM about that before I disappear into the ether.

Ellis: A soldier under Dan's command. He held the same goals as Dan and always believed he ought to be Dan's right hand man, but Dan could see that his ambitions would place his life in danger. He is very deliberate, a sociopath, and very very dangerous. Has good intentions in regard to his rule over The Warren, but will kill anyone in his way the moment he believes he can get away with it.

Stane: A soldier under Dan's command and now under Ellis' command. He is quite similar to Ellis except where Ellis is deliberate and brooding Stane is given to impulsive actions. He has found himself split from Ellis. He is quite loyal to Ellis still, partly because he is simply not fit to be a leader himself and partly because he fears retribution. Takes his anger out violently and has decided sadistic tendencies.

Great. Sorry for not posting in The Warren RP for a while, but I feel no need at the moment. William gave me the task as a mobile reserve agent and until the debate starts I've got nothing to do. I could have just go around time for the time being, but it would be would be kinda of pointless in my opinion. But I'll think I'll make a response soon, regardless.

Also,Cain is a skilled hacker and I think it would interesting if he used that to turn on The Warren. Not right now, or the immediate future, just throwing that out there.

Another thing, do you think that we should throw a little plot synopsis out here every eighty posts or so, telling what's the general situation and where is everyone at. I think it would help clear out confusion before it happens, but that's just a suggestion.

Oh, and Ant. Maybe I'm the only one picky about this. You said you were a skilled Engineer, but that's like saying a skilled Scientist. It's a very broad field with many specializations and the only reason I'm curious is because you just mentioned about shutting down MIRVIN, so Electrical Engineer. Just curious, for future references plus I want to know what you can and can not do.

Not totally sure what to do with Kathy, as a note, aside from simply reacting to her situation. Usually I like thinking of things a character of mine could do to keep things more interesting, but a mix of business and lack of creativity on my part has resulted in the matter where I'm still having trouble thinking of anything. Though, since Yttrium mentioned Cain's skills, I suppose I'll mention her real skills would be in her stealth, guns, and repair. She doesn't really have any other talents in particular-she's smarter than average, but not "genius" smart by any means.

Of course, if she ever had the chance, she'd get some answers from more sources-but the current situation isn't really bursting with opportunities on that one. ;] I'll try to think of somethin' quick, though.

Oh, and just a note, I may not be here as often as I have been-school starts tomorrow, and this week ought to be especially busy. I will try to get on, but I'll be slower nonetheless. Unless I have practically no work-which never happens, pfft.

Alright, it's good. I'll be revealing the Zodiac Empire much faster and probably ally myself to Ellis or something. Heck, I might even help Zoey. But a third very powerful organization yet having small numbers would be cool to keep the conflict up for control of the Warren.

Marx as an individual isn't supposed to be a wastelander but rather a ruthless and tactical military commander when in control of the Zodiac forces so I'm going to heavily downplay his individual skill other than his decent skills with a gun and his strategic skills for the skills he'll have when my remnants come into play. So yeah...um...watch my own character be heavily downplayed in favor of a faction. At least until that faction shows up that is.

Zerker, i have to say, and please dont take any offence but before you decide to introduce a faction you really should ask the host (me) its the same situation Dan is in, when he submitted his CS he started out with 20 men, there is now three of them in his mini faction not twenty. Its okay to have controll of a few people like Dan and even myself, Im in controll of Zoey's unit (about 8 people but they where established when we where far into the last thread before we revived the warren again), Sarah (though techinically part of the Zoey's, i just took her into more of a main role). So i'd appreciate it if you could pm me about what you plans are for the Zodiac group.

Zoey is about to go sneak into the Warren and try to catch up with william if she can get close, adn if she can a sitrep with Mirvin, Cathy and cain.

I think with any sort of remnants forces, the cap should be ten or less original people. I hardly think one could play 10 characters, and keep a decent post with depth and emotion, etc., but they can just be sort of extras added to the mix. If I were to speak of some Abu Nidal remnants, I'd probably only play up to ten with only one or two being actually talking and meaning anything, while the others are just extras to be showing that the remnants are just one or two people left. (Unless one did want the remnants to be just one or two people left from the whole faction.)

To Yttrium,

My Engineering field falls under a Tinkerer, and electronic Engineer. I am intelligent for my age, and grew up around machines taking them from their dumpsters and rearranging them to restore other objects or make new ones. That was Johnny's hobby as a child with no friends, he used to scavenge for tools (with or without his parents permission) and bring them back to his house to dismantle, rebuild, destroy, automate, and even program. He also knows how to repair a weapon as well as how to create modifications for it using other pieces of scrap, as long as he has the right material --which he rarely does. He learned his skills from both firsthand experience and reading books. As far as Fallout is concerned, it would go under the field of science, but Johnny couldn't tell a G.E.C.K from F.E.V. All he knows his anything with electrical wires, or the repairing/modding of weapons.

As far as shutting off Mirvin, that was something I thought of on the fly to kind of remind everyone what Johnny's skills were, but if it seems to uber, I'll make it so that he can only mildly operate certain robots and hack easy to medium terminals

I'd like to take a moment to tell more about my character William Penn.

While his actions have placed him on the side of the "good guys" he really isn't necessarily the kindest person out there. If you get down to it, he really isn't that different from Ellis, maybe other than the fact he had a few morals which keep him from crossing the line. If there was ever a large disagreement between Zoey and the rebels then he may very well try to go out on his own. William has spent many years trying to gain power legally in the Warren so if he is passed up another time he might not be able to take it. He is by no means a solid member of the rebels but so far he has not done anything that suggests otherwise besides reminding Johnny to keep an eye on Zoey as well.

For the remnants faction I suppose it might have something to it if it is done right. William was a member of the national guard before the war so he's probably had experience fighting your faction and will likely harbor prejudice against them.

That was my point. If The Warren had locked him up it is unlikely that he has many men still behind him. You had to go down there and kill a bunch of soldiers to free him...if he had soldiers on his side he'd be unlikely to be in a cell in the first place.

Was this supposed to have happened the night before these debates or the night after?

I want to encourage communications amongst each other, Venix is taking over so before you do anything dramatic like launching an attack or introducing a new technology speak with her about it via PM. If you want to "find out" something about someone's character make sure you ok it through Venix and through the person who controls that character, same thing in regard to shooting someone, etc. etc.

I'm just going to be editing my first post in this topic, and Venix will take over when I leave, so that people can quickly see WHERE characters are and WHAT they are doing.
