Hello ladies and gents. I am acting co host for the RP the Warren. We have had a few RP'ers leave/dissapear our Host (Jonasvault101) being one of them however he'll be back of this i have no doubt. but seeing as we ae lacking in RP'er power at the minute i hae decided with consultant of the still dedicated RP'ers to recuit a couple of new members.

A couple of notes: There is a chance that theese positions wil only be temporary, when Jonas comes back he can decide if you stay or not, however even if you don't stay it will bolster you RP'ing experiance so why not?

There are the usual RP rules however thee is one i can't stress enough, Either make decent sized IC posts or don't bother posting. having such a small post give's no one else anything to work off at all, just look through the Waren posts the majoaty of them ae decent sized. I understand that we cant all always make a decent post and i espect that because ive had to do it but if you constantly do it i will tell you to leave because constant small half assed posts dont help anyone.

so seious stuff aside please read the following to get a picture of where the original RP set out from:

The Story

When the bombs fell on the world, only a chosen few of humanity were deemed fit to carry on the human race. Only the ones who could buy their lives by taking up residence in a Vault, for a sum of nearly 3,000 dollars. Vault-tec made sure that they would live. But what about those who didn't get in? Those poor masses who received a letter of rejection? They were forced to hide in their own shelters, or find some means of surviving the holocaust. They were the ones who were to be the first true 'wasters'. Many fled the country, some stayed and built their very own Fallout shelters. Some simply prayed for salvation.

But when the bombs fell, like a swarm of locusts upon a Biblical Egypt. Nothing but death and chaos followed.

Of course though, as said, there were survivors. Men and women who spat in the faces of Vault-tec and the Enclave by showing that they could live without their help. In the city of Wichita, KS, there was a particular group of survivors, they're names to this day are unknown. All that is known, is they were the founders of one of the largest settlements in the Central United States. The settlement was founded around a giant movie theater, perched upon a large hill overlooking the city.

The name of the theater, is the Warren.

Your Part

You will be one of the many who was denied access to a Vault. Who actually managed to make or find an adequate shelter to avoid the inevitable and death-dealing holocaust. The founders of The Warren in the destroyed city of Wichita ,KS. You will be a family, a fighting force, you will be the fathers and mothers of a new generation of Americans. You will be civilians turned heroes, turned legends of the wastes.

After the bombs fell, terrible things happened to the city, as was expected. At night, huge packs of vicious feral ghouls roam the streets, along with mutant dogs, and beavers from the great river that runs through the city. In the air fly swarms of hungry buzzards and other carrion, though they attack rarely, they ARE a threat. Along with this, there is of course the threat of other survivors. Though right now they aren't the full fledged Raider bands, and most of the survivors are just like you, looking for safety. But many will do anything to survive, even if that means killing. Most of these hostile survivors have also turned to rabid cannibalism.

Ok then guys please PM CS's to me and we'll talk. remember we ae only looking fo about two people.

I'll attempt a character sheet I'll start reading through the thread immediately.

If you have any difficulty coming up with character ideas a good temporary or possibly permanent (I sincerely hope permanent) position might be as:

1) An Abu Nidal raider, though you'd have to consult Dr. Strangelove before posting much
2) A Notoh Tribal, though you'd have to consult me before posting too much

or, and this hasn't actually become a group yet but I think it would be interesting

3) There was a character named Dan who was the military leader, he had different groups of soldiers active out in the wastes, you might RP as one of his soldiers left out there. You'd probably need to consult either Venix or Jonas about that though...though I'm sure Strangelove and I would be happy to give input as well.

Finally, if none of those suit you we are supposed to be going to a large trading mecca soon called New Jerusalem. If you wanted to be a trader or a mercenary or something more along those lines that would be a great place to join in.

I think it would be best if people whee to be citizens of th warren and that we should just keep the others as Smiley suggested to NPC's obviously contolled by us the RP'ers but also you could be soilder of the Waen thats not a problem. But those ae good suggestions smiley, i just think it would keep things easier if people whee to RP citzens of the Waen afte all that was the initial idea when the RP started but that does not mean to say people who want to RP an Abu Nidal or Notah tribe member will be refused.

Yeah, just pass a PM my way for information on the Abu Nidal Raider/Terrorist group. I'm not so sure how many people will want to play as Abu Nidal though.
