Guess what "mixed" means. ;)

Mixed means all 3.

Paladin on my first playthrough. Then probably a mage or a battle mage. Anyways warrior/mage types are my favourites.

I was a definite Warrior/Mage even split in Morrowind, with all the useful exploration spells like Mark/Recall, Waterwalking and Levitation.

In Oblivion I was still a Warrior/Mage but really only a token mage (I only used heal and open lock) as the game didn't require much magic.

Pure class: Thief

Mixed class: Thief/Warrior

More or less this.

Assassin/ranger types are the best to me.
Then i'll try paladin.
The magic in skyrim sounds ( so far) more appealing than ever to me,so will try mage at some point.
Also....i never choose destruction and marksman,i just don't like it,my funny way i suppose.
It's either "Blade" and " Bow"
Or "Blade" and "magic" destruction.
I dont like being good at all of them at the same time. I see destruction as ranged, like bow,but will only pick one or the other, never both.

The 'mixed' option totally ruined this poll.

No, the OP did when he changed the "Mixed" choice to "Warrior/Mage" and added three more choices, both after most people probably already voted. (The "Mixed" option was only half ruining the poll.)

I tend to be fighting alongside a horde of my summoned allies with a sword, shield and light armour. I also steal stuff for the challenge and change in pace. At least thats my roleplay reason for theivery. The real reason is because like most gamers, I am a [censored].

I'm more of the ranger/worrier type. blade heavy but will use archery occasionally (like a Nord version of Aragon from LoTR)

I usually play as a Thief in basically all of my playthroughs. I've also played as a pure Warrior.

Well, I've voted on all 3 since I always plays jack-of-all-trades characters and they fit me the best (probably since I'm like that in my real life).
But still, out of the big 3 styles (if I were not allowed to pick any combination), my first favorite is mage, then thief and then warrior.

My favorites are ranger/assassin/thief types, in that order.

But I will still RP warriors and mages in different playthroughs.

in oblivion i was all 3 but since we will get more balanced skills and no allrounder i will be thief/warrior so basically an assassin who will fight with two short swords or if i can't block with two swords (didn't understand the new weapon system yet...) a short sword and a shield
i will stop using any spells because i won't equip them and alchemy gets a stealth skill so i will use it to heal myself etc.

Mage/Thief are the ones I generally do first. Warrior is a bit bland.

Mage all day err day.

Studying magical tomes, making the universe bow to me, consorting with demons, making everyone around me look inferior by comparison.

Hells yeah.

None of the above, and not really all 3.
I'll be playing a stealthy character, but not one who steals, that prefers ranged combat and sneak attacks with poisoned arrows, and uses magic for healing/utility/mobility.

I guess the closest thing is Mage/Thief though - if we're considering archery as a thief-like skill rather than warrior?

TBH I wish they'd just skip grouping the skills up into these three categories, it's kind of pointless now.

Warrior/thief because I steal a lot and I come out with my blade swinging.

A mage-thief, but thieves can also fight like warriors that wear light equipment. Warriors in these kinds of games are usually the heavy armor, big wielding sword type, and the thief-type basically represents stealth. In Skyrim there's no more class system, so I could consider myself a stealthy warrior, with some useful arcane abilities. I don't like the whole warrior/thief/mage thing, and I'm glad the class system is dynamic now.

TBH I wish they'd just skip grouping the skills up into these three categories, it's kind of pointless now.

I don't think they are anymore. Or at least, you won't have to specialize in stealth/magic/combat anymore, so it won't affect how you level using your skills.

The warrior is usually my favorite playstyle for a 1st playthrough.

I think a lot of it has to do about my character preferences in movies. In LOTR, who is my favorite character? Gandalf or Aragorn? .............If you thought Aragorn you'd be right. I mean, how cool is it to be a world renown hero wielding a sword?
