The WheelTower and its stone

The world's a "Tower", therefore it might have a stone. It just hit me that the stone might be...

The Elder Scrolls. Or their contents.

I'm going to dip my head into the unknown void of Seth and give a guess: The World Tower stone is the Heart of Lorkhan.

Now to puzzle whether that made a lot of sense or very little.

Mundus. It is the centre of creation.

EDIT: I just realised. The Tower is I. The Stone is the little dot on a lower case i.

I don't think that's the case, since I believe it's commonly accepted that the Heart of Lorkhan is/was the Stone of the Red Tower (Red Mountain).

I'm inexperienced in this side of the lore. However, I'll still ask- is it possible for a tower to have two stones?

I can't help but think of the creation of Nirn here and with that thought, the Mundus's creators: Magnus, Lorkhan.

The visionary as well as the heart of nirn's ideals. Eye of Magnus, Heart of Lorkhan. Aren't those names so convenient.. :shifty:

The Eye of Magnus was so-called by some mages who would often explicitly say that they had no idea what the [vehk] they're talking about. The Psijics merely called it 'the artifact your mages have taken to calling the Eye of Magnus.' It is intensely magical (or so they say, that questline wasn't exactly the best written of Skyrim's chains), but I see little other reason to attribute it to Magnus himself.

On the other hand, the stone of the tower of Mundus would be quite the prize for the Thalmor. If the stone of Red Mountain gave Sotha Sil, Almalexia and that other guy powers not dissimilar to those of gods, imagine what the Thalmor, Elves who actually know what they're about, could do with the stone of Mundus itself.

It is an intriguing idea.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the wheel a tower because all the kalpas are their own wheels all stacked on top of each other?
In that case, the universal stone would have to be something that transcends kalpas.

I don't think it's possible for a tower to have two stones; there's no establishment of that, and we tend to hear about a stone that anchors a tower instead of stones.

I believe Vehk states that if one looks at the wheel from the side, it appears as "the one and only name of God; I".

As for a universal stone that transcends kalpas; my best guesses would be either the Elder Scrolls themselves (since they can show all possible paths, destinies, timelines, etc.) or the Godhead. The only true way to "end" existence would be for the "dream" to cease and for the Godhead to "awaken", so to speak.
