On season 2 at the moment.Stopped to watch Dexter a few weeks ago.

Season one was super good, and the wire is not something I expected to like. The actors are mostly from the local area I hear, so they know what goes down.Season two is a different feel I think, and im not sure I like the docks.I will certainly get back to it though. How many seasons are there?

Five seasons. I've just finished episode six of it, actually. Been watching through it with my brother.

Thanks. My friend tells me certain seasons are a good deal better than the others, I intend to give it all a chance.

Omar. He is pretty awesome . I won't comment on how long he doesn't or does last, since that would be spoilery.

"Yo Omar is comin, get out da way!".I seem to remember something like that, as the poor people of the slums scatter.I thought it was cool how its a known thing to hide when Omar is about.Crossfire is a hell of a thing.

Season 2 is different to the rest, as they all primarily focus on the drug dealing on the streets crime. The first time I watched 2, I liked it but not as much as the others. Now it's probably my third favourite, having watched it again.

I've watched the first 6 episodes a while back. I couldn't get into it. I might give it another try because I watched them while doing homework.

One of the best television programs ever created. Simple as that.

Loved the 3rd and 5th seasons the most, but the whole series must be viewed to appreciate properly. It doesn't always fit the standard 1hour television drama mould (rarely in fact) so don't get discouraged by episodes that don't seem to conclude anything. The satisfying conclusion is there, you just have to be patient.

Jimmy's meeting with the FBI profilers in the tail end of season 5 is a must see. And I was always rooting for Colvin's plan throughout 3rd season, but alas, the bigwigs just cannot stomach it.

If you haven't discovered this program yet, look for it.
