Although the Witcher was a linear story, it told a
good story. And you had to make some interesting decisions. I remember doing something in Chapter one and not really thinking much about it, only to find out the impact of it in Chapter 3 and thinking Ha! It never occurred to me that doing A would lead to C, instead of B. But I found the story interesting, because you did get to recreate the character of Geralt.
As for the flings - I am a female gamer, but I had my Geralt be the biggest hounddog ever! Vampire threeseome? It is ON! :rofl: I almost felt like the flings were a mini-game.
They didn't really impact the story, except for the more serious dealings with Triss and/or Shani, if you opted to even get involved seriously with any of them.
Anyway, I do hope this new one has as compelling a narrative. Certainly looks interesting.
