Vote for your favorite type of apocalypse.

I did this vote about 3 years ago and people voted zombie apocalpse and nulcear fallout because of the games (left 4 dead and fallout 3).

Let's see how people's general opinions changed.

Either zombie apocalypse, or alien invasion.

I want to see something awesome go down first! If it's anything else, we won't really have a chance to see much (which would be counted as a blessing for people whose minds aren't as demented as mien).

Either alien invasion or the sun exploding. Alien invasion because it'd give me a decent probability of living for a longer time compared to the others, and it'd just be awesome.

Sun exploding because it'd look cool for the whole 8+ minutes before we are fried to a crisp.

Nukes wouldn't be very quick for a lot of people.

It'd be cool if the barriers between our reality and some horrible otherworld were to suddenly fall as humanity ascended to Supreme Divinity, with the two worlds destroying themselves as they collide, the death screams of innumerable aliens a final monument to the old order as our nascent divinity rips the universe to shreds.

I want the end of the world to end in my sleep (during a good dream) that way I can't tell what's happening in real life. On another note, why is it people are always saying that they know when the world is going to end, while the "Good Book" CLEARLY says that "No one, not even the angels, demons or anyone knows, only God knows when the world is going to end"---why can't anyo---oh never mind <_<...

Resource wars.. It would be the end of the world as we know it, but not the end of all life.
Perhaps if that happened, some balance could be restored

Regardless of antying else, this is likely what will happen. matter, energy.. more of it is converted either directly into us, or things we need like food shelter and clothing and a whole lot going to creature comforts, or things that drive those needs and wants. Even if we found "free enegery" tomorrow, we would still be slowly draining all resources through our populace alone.
