I am finally finished with the main quest of Skyrim (late bloomer, I know), and, unlike in Oblivion, where we got full closure, this time I felt that the story of Dragonborn isn't actually over. (What I mean is not in the way of Dragonborn and Dawnguard expansions, but rather as the main story) Yeah, we defeated Alduin, and yeah, the destiny of Dragonborn is fulfilled, but there still is much to do.
I mean, the Thalmor are still around, the rebellion is neither here nor there for the time being and it seems there is still a whole lot more that Dragonborn can do, and, in that logic, would do should his/her story progress any further.
Beyond that, what's stopping the Dragonborn from just going to the Imperial City and taking the Amulet of Kings for himself, sort of, pull a Talos move, if you will. (Well, legions, but when has that ever stopped him )
I don't mean that I am dissatisfied with the ending, in fact, I am quite pleased. It's just that, I feel that Bethesda is reserving the Dragonborn for further stuff. (Even Arngeir says that the tale of Dragonborn is just starting in the end)
What do you guys think? Will the story of Dragonborn progress to, what I believe is its natural conclusions, or will Bethesda fade him away after the events of Skyrim?
