Suddenly every time I cast a spell the effects are stuck around me. Meaning that when I heal, the asura will stay, making it very hard to see in some instances. Enemies who summon creatures get a green cloud above them, that will stay even after they're dead. All small effects like bufferflies and fre, etc. are frozen in time.

Earlier saves doesn't havbe this damage, but to get to one of these I got to do the last mission of the main quest as well as several knights of the nine quests over again.

Is it possible to fix this? Is it because of the curse you get when picking up the gauntlets? Or perhaps it's because of the mission were you are to retrieve the mace? - I failed.

I really don't want to do the main quest and the knights of the nine stuff over again. I'll lose so much great RPing and it would just be incredibly tedious. Please help.

This is an easy one...or rather it's an easy one if you are playing a PC version of Oblivion. You, my friend, have the a-bomb. Wrye Bash has a built in a-bomb fixer. There are several stand-alone fixers, the most common of which is Oblivion Animation Fixer, which should be available at Nexus. Alas, if you play on console I have no good answer for you.

P.S. Earlier saves aren't affected because they were made before the bomb kicked in.

Ah. The A Bomb...

This often happens when the same character has been played for 300 hours or so. As far as I know the only fix for non-PC players is to start a new character. Then there is a decent chance that character will get A-bombed after around 300 hours as well. Sorry.
