Quest 64-If you played it you understand the pain

Quest 64 was bad, but I had fun with it. I really dont know why. The story was bad, the lack of any form of monitary system was horrible. The combat was different though. Maybe thats what it was. I think I just kinda reached a point with that game that I had to see it through.

But then, I didn't find Daikatana as horrible as people made it out to be.

Baldurs Gate and Champions of Norrath for the PS2. The PC version for Baldurs Gate looks much better but I couldn't really say as I haven't played them. All I know is that these games were really boring and had all they were essentially about was killing hordes of stuff.

Eww, I remember being fooled into thinking Dark Alliance would be as decent as the Diablo port the PlayStation got way back when. Nothing but a terrible hack and slash. Shadows of Amn and Throne of Bhaal on PC, on the other hand, are excellent. Well, as far as I remember anyway. Been a good 10 years since I played 'em. But, Baldur's Gate II and Diablo II were basically the extent of my PC gaming as a youngster, and Diablo II has held up pretty darn well.

Two Worlds for me was the worst RPG I ever played.

The Fable series never really did it for me. I know a lot of people seem to like them though, whatever floats your boat.

I hate WoW, I played it for some time and didn't enjoy it at all. And it's not because I don't like MMORPGs, it's my favourite game type. In many ways it's just an action game, I don't feel the MMORPG part in it.

Oblivion. I just don't have fond memories of it. I gave it a fair chance too. I know I put at least 70 hours into one character before deciding there was no point in playing it anymore. I tried to love it, but in the end I just went crawling back to Morrowind. :P

I don't like Morrowind, I'll be honest. I didn't like it when it came out and I don't like it now. But to call it a bad RPG I completely disagree with.

I hate Fallout: New Vegas and Fable 2. Fable 3 was also a let down, but still a step up from Fable 2.

Is King's Bounty Armored princess considered an RPG?

No disrespect to anyone who liked the game, but I recently tried the demo and couldn't get into it at all. The art direction is a little too cute and cartoonish for my tastes.

I really dislike Two Worlds and Arcania: Gothic 4. Also (please don't shoot me), I could never get into Mass Effect or Dragon Age, but I understand why they get the acclaim they do.

Although Grindscape svcked many hours of my life away as a wee one, looking back now makes me see how terrible it was. I mean holy [censored], look at the "speaking" animations!
I think I played Quest 64 for about 32.75 seconds before turning it off and saying "The hell is this [censored]?"

Also, even though many people thought it was bad, I thoroughly enjoyed Dark Saviour for the Sega Saturn.

When ME1 came out, it was pretty good. Though, going through the extremely tedious parts, like planet exploration and fighting enemies that do not freaking die on hardcoe and insanity, was highly annoying. Not to mention the flood of equipment which formed me to make a ton of omni-gel. I can see why someone would eventually be put off at first.

Though, ME2 is more streamlined, eliminating planetary exploration in favor of dropping down into missions, no more cluster [NUMMIT] inventory, and it does taken 3 minutes to kill an enemy in harder difficulties. Not to mention I find interaction with teammates and dialog to have been improved heavily. However, there is still the tedious problem of mining for minerals (can be eliminated if you cheat in the PC), there is a bit of a lack of armor, some people are bitter about how there are thermal clips (ammo), and there is a reduction of skills.

Haven't played DA, so I can't say.

Worst RPG I have ever played was probably Mass Effect 2. I think that is the worst one... I could be wrong, though.

But, yeah, it was pretty bad. For me, all of it was essentially a downgrade from the first one.

But seriously, what are you doing on the Bethesda forums? It's like being on a COD forum and not liking MW2 or Black Ops.

Arcania has the most horrible dialogue, lame quests and inconvenient UI/menus, but for some reason it kinda grew on me after a few hours. The swordplay is a little like The Witcher.

ME2 and DAO are among my favs. Haven't tried ME1 yet.
