Theives Guild -- How to find it?

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 7:15 pm

My Argonian Thief is doing allright as thief, but I wonder if there is a Thieve's Guild i can join? Asked around a bit in a few cities, no one knows about it.

I have got caught stealing a number of times, but unlike Oblivion, I was never handed a note about a Guild.

Any help, please? :)

In DF you need to be successful at stealing a number of times in a short time frame to get the invite. It's about 10 times for pickpocketing. Breaking into a shop is supposed to work too, but I think it's a bit buggy. Also it's harder to break into shops with low lockpicking skill than it is to pickpocket 10 times with low pickpocketing skill.

To clarify, when I wrote 'breaking into' I should have written lockpicked. I think you need to use lockpicking to gain entry. Using an open spell definitely doesn't count. I don't think bashing in the door counts. Next time I start a new game I'll try to get an invite through burglary.
