Theory about why you can find the same type of septim coin e

Someone once raised the question "How the hell did an imperial Septim get in Dwemer ruins and ancient Nordic tombs.

Here is my theory. Every time A new emperor or leader is crowned a new coin in struck. Then an enchantment is used which changes every other coin to this design. That is except for the Dwemer coins in Morrowind. Those where just too foreign in metal type for the spell to work.

What do you guys think?

Problem is, The coins all have a picture of Tiber Septim. So if this is true, the enchanted coins only changed when Tiber Septim became emperor.

Someone said that when Talos, born of the North, changed Cyrod into a more hospitable place, he also reshaped all the coins which are his, so that the monetary system would forever bask in the glory of his face.

I was amused by Willie's comment:

Why were Septims in sealed tombs, thousands of years old? The Septim Empire traded across all times and planes.

EDIT: I thought the "Tiber CHIM'ed all the money" was sort of a joke?

Only it doesn't explain the different coinsi n Morrowind...

I hate to use this as an excuse especially in this forum, but I'm simply claiming gameplay. Either that or the ancient Nords and Dwemer of Skyrim used the exact same quality and quantity of gold (other material) to make their coins as the modern empire and it really doesn't matter what you pay with.
