I do love Cyrodiil, though. Each city has a completely different design.

Judging by the manner in which the Cyrods were watered-down throughout the series, I doubt that even Bethesda loves them.
It's too bad the Cyrods can't keep their pants up without needing to have the Nords [and other provincials] do it for them.
Imperials are only as good as the power of speech.
Once upon a time, perhaps. Now that they've let them elves rule them, they are cowards.
Funny how they use to be my favorite race when I first played Oblivion (which was my first TES game) After reading up on lots of lore and experiencing the other TES games including Skyrim they are now they are at bottom for me and I'm certain they'll stay that way.
It's not that I hate them, I just dislike them and find them bland. Almost everything about them is them is a poor implementations of stuff ripped off from other groups like the Akaviri, Altmeri and Nords. I find that they seem to be the only race that is incapable of doing anything without some form of divine intervention or the aid of other races even if that includes saving themselves. Honestly the "Imperial Luck" they have is quite a big deal when you take those flaws into consideration.
That said I do find Imperials to be very great looking both Male and female (I'm straight) That olive skin and chiseled face makes them the best looking human males after the Redguards and best looking human females after the Nords in my opinion.
Well, I've always loved Roman and Byzantine culture in real life, SPQR and all that nice stuff, and since Imperials (and by extension, the Empire) are pretty much their TES counterparts, they always have had a place in my heart. Long live the Empire!
I don't hate any of the races what would be the point, its only a game although some of the antagonistic comments on here in favour of their favourite race makes me wonder how many people are short on sanity in real life.
Never liked the Romans. I liked SPARTACUS! I try to role play as spartacus in Skyrim against the empire.
I can respect that, different strokes for different folks and all that.
I like how they were meant to be presented. Al Esh is alright by me. If we're lucky the Thalmor will destroy the country, wipe the slate clean, and we'll get weird Cyrodiil back by hook or crook.
Basically from the Marukhati Collective onward, I love to hate them.
Never played one. Roleplay wise, I couldn't respect myself as an imperial. Nords or Dunmer for me.
I believe the term is "spoiled" or "sour". Or under different circumstances, "spilled".
Imperials can join the rebeliion too if they like. Remember that your head was almost chopped off. almost. Alduin saved you and you got help from Ralof and Ulfric himself.
Help as in: told to jump into a burning building with your hands still tied behind your back!
"Ah, one of you again, eh? You Dark Brotherhood types are all the same. All sneak and no swing! "
"Oh, Sithis needs my soul does he? Well, you can tell your Dread Father that he can kiss my wrinkled [censored]! Defend yourself, Dark Brotherhood dog!""
Adamus Phillida. Now tell me if that isn't one badass mother[censored]er.
