Mathews Animal Husbandry made me paranoid
Vault 11 was just oh [censored] because I realised for me this was the most twisted vault
Vault 22 - after reading the doctors terminal I was scared
Dunwich - A door opened by its self then I left after seeing that
Coming back at a later level I saw self moving coffee mug and a fan falling over then seeing the hallucination I was [censored]ting my pants
Vault 106 was just weird

Vault 34.. Because even AFTER you clear out all the damned vault dwellers there are some trapped in a room you can't get to.
They never shut the hell up and it creeps me out, makes me feel like their could be one of them ogly S.O.B's around every corner :S

I find Camp Searchlight to be incredibly creepy, what with its washed out hue, constant background radiation, and soldier ghouls.

Dunno if it was mentioned yet but I just recently did the Vault 22 quest and it definitly has a Dunwhich feeling along the lines of The Andromeda Strain, right down to the ghoulish woman scientist whith a temper. Definitly one of the better moments.

Silver Peak Mine. It's not exactly spooky, there are no ghosts or anything, but it is pretty damn horrible down there, due to how pitch-dark it is and the particular creature type that's made its home there...

Nowhere in New vegas is even a fraction as scary as point lookout or dunwhich building.

Nothing in FONV can compare to the dunwich building and the metro tunnels .Some of the vaults were ok but not "spooky ".

Remember, it's only your opinion, not a fact.

Vault 11, 34 and the Camp(forgot its name) easily stomps over the vastly overrated Dunwich(which I don't get why should be scary at all. The ghouls became an annoyance, not a danger to me)

Still IMO none even compare to point lookout

That place almost gave me a heart attack. NV is styled after planescape: torment so.... ya people who find dialogue and deep, interconnected stories boring would not like it. FO3 was awesome too, in its own way, and I hope that the best aspects of both are combined in Fallout 4... that would be the greatest game ever! (I [censored] you not)

It′s to much text in FNV and IMO I think much of the values in the game gets lost. I′m NOT saying text is bad, but theres something I find wrong. They have almost cut out audio holotapes which after my opinion made a huge difference when it comes to atmospheric feelings. Very few places in FNV can compare to Dunwich, Point Lookout and the Metro. I recently was in Camp Guardian, the whole thing started good with the radio broadcast and the peak was awesome. But the whole cave was so dissapointing. It was neither scary or exciting. Lakelurks isn′t scary and they didn′t fit to the description in the broadcast. I aswell find it stupid how they could not have noticed the cave after 20 days when it was almost besides the tent.

Backing you up on this one. I totally agree. Pick any location in Fallout 3 and it's scarier than anything in Fallout New Vegas, I contribute this mostly to the lighting and background in Fallout 3. I know most old school fallout fans don't like FO3, but the developers made sure that "the world is over" feel was there.
