The closest would be http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Camp_Guardian. There's a little horror story there ;) No ghosts, though.

There's not many interesting places in FONV, but there are alot of interesting stories if you talk to people.

Dead Money and parts of the New Vegas sewer are as close to the old Dunwhich Building as you're going to get in FONV. (Although I'm guessing that research place in Old World Blues will have some creepy horror aspect to it.

There's nothing exactly like the Dunwich Building, but you might want to check out:
The sewers under Vegas. Go in by the manhole outside McCarren.
Vault 11.
Vault 34.
The railroad tunnel by Nellis (100 Lockpick needed).

3 of the 4 feature ghouls.

New Vegas has a different emphasis than F3, for better or worse.

If you're only looking for ghosts then there's the Camp Forlorn Hope graveyard.

Camp guardian was pathetic and anti-climatic. A bunch of NCR guys got murdered by a few Lakelurks LOL. I thought it would have been a small pack of Cazadores.

Yes The Seiera Madre and the villa that surrounds it in the dcl called Dead Money.

DM is more than just one building, and its story is a bit deeper IMO.

The Dunwich building changed after the Point Lookout dlc to be a little more creepy than it was to begin with.

Fo nv creepy in the main game can be found in Search Light, and east and south east of Search Light along the boarder of the map.

Camp Overlook or Lookout ( I think its called ) could also be considered creepy. EDIT; Its Camp Gaurdian as someone else already mentioned.

Also finding the full story of Vault 11 is twisted in a way.

The Rook: I liked how Bethesda added a little quest from Point Lookout just so you can discover the place, and add a hint of creepiness to it. However, the quest itself was bad, Obadiah Blackhall doesn't even send Talon Company after you leave the building.

New Vegas is more story based than anything. You will not find any creepy places or in fact any interesting places but some of the stories characters tell are actually cool.

He doesn't even try to kill you either if you go back and talk to him. The book you need to destroy is of evil magic, yet he doesn't foresee you going back to DC and destroying it? I mean, he hired assassins to deal with the Christian!

Vault 34 blows Dunwich Building out of the water. (Granted Dunwich Building was a boring building to begin with though)

I was hoping it was Super Mutants myself lol.

Hey for some scrub NCR troopers they were in deep trouble out numbered by lakelurks. They only have like 47 gun skill. And with the new patch lakelurk melee attacks ignore their 12dt armour.

For those men it was horrible lol

All Vault 34 is is a radiation time bomb filled with ghouls. How would that beat out Pre-War Flashbacks and Dark Magic? Then again, maybe I've missed something in Vault 34.

http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Vault_34 is by far the most scariest in the game other than that theres really not many and maybe Vault 22.

But Dunwich is far scary out of all the fallout games.

True. He should have sent some swamp folk mercs to DC lol

The whole thing was kind of lame IMO. I just went with it......

Some demons should have spawned when you started to destroy it.
