From what I have read and seen Skyrim looks like it is going to be pretty good, the only thing that I cant say that I am very pleased with is that level scaling will show its ugly head once more, other than that it looks good.

Pffffssttt. YEAH! Since reading that article, I've had to use the bathroom, like, SEVEN TIMES. I'm worried I'm not going to be able to pace myself. I have to remind myself that the game is still ten months away.

Longest. Ten. Months. EVER.

Quite happy here :) Can't say I'm dissapointed, but I also can't say it's the game of the millennium (at least by now).

Let's say I'm 85% happy, in terms of percentages.

Level scaling was in Morrowind. I believe Daggerfall as well. It was just poorly done in oblivion, and has been completely changed in Skyrim. Confirmed by Devs today.

I'm happy with everything they are doing even the level scaling and the 18 skills  ...just as long as they aren't trying to dumb it down for the purpose of getting more casual gamers to play...

Finally, a thread that isn't all complaints and disappointments. Yes, I am actually even more excited than I thought I would be about this game. I managed to get a glimpse of a scan (Only a few pages, and one of them was unreadable) but I love the concept of the dragon fights. They really sound like the will be a constant threat. And a real one, not like the oblivion gates where people casually go about their business while one's sitting out side the freakin city. Sure, they may complain about it, but no one actually behaves differently on the surface.

Thankyou and i doubt game informer is lying when they said seeing skyrim ''took the breath away'' we just have to be patient and not judge low res scans for pete's sake

I think that what I saw in the game informer article exceeded my expectations, so yeah, I am damn excited.

I can't sleep, saw some scans earlier, read through some summaries, then tried to go to bed, I just can't do it too hyped up. I didn't see anything that was a serious concern, a few I'd like to know more about, but nothing that makes me overly anxious. So excited I can't stand it right now.

Finally LOL i thought was among lifeless souls critiquing every aspect of the game when only the surface has been touched upon. I really have to say Bethesda is a once in a lifetime developer who have always remained humble even though they deserve to be the most confident kids on the block

Very excited. I think most people are, but some of course are fearing the worst in hope they won't be let down by the final product, some others are jumping to ridiculous conclusions based on a couple of screenshots and a little information...and of course there are the straight up trolls.

We have it all!

My god... There are normal people out there who aren't whining about every little detail of the game? :o

Yep, I'm super excited for Skyrim, I can't wait for the pure concentrated epicness that it will be!

I'm am so excited for Skyrim after reading the bit of the article I could. So much so that I am devoting my entire family estate on the development of a stasis pod that will freeze me and 5 other forum goers for the next 10 months.

I am quite satisfied with what I have seen.

One way to look at it, even with the little info to go on, sounds better than Oblivion that's for sure.

Most of the complaints are out of proportion, like little spoiled kids.

I'm excited and pleased by most of the things I hear.
Some other stuff I'm a bit skeptical about, but I'm not going to start criticizing a game that I haven't played because I'm a advlt and an intelligent human being.

This is probably going to be the worst game in the last 30 years, if I ever do buy it it wont be until I find it at a thrift store.

I do agree that some people are taking things out of proportion and complaining, but they are entitled to an opinion. (even if its wrong, jk)
