is there anything that would make you not play Skyrim?

At least I managed to miss the bugginess before the first patch. That was actually frying hardware on a few people's computers. :shakehead:

I wonder if that classifies it for "Buggiest Game Ever", taking the crown from Daggerfall. It at least wins in severity of said bugs. Daggerfall just got me used to typing
cd\daggerfall
dagger

The only time it was an issue is when I typed dagdemo instead of dagger because of repetition. Got over that though.

If it was turn-based combat. That's it. If it was turn-based, I would NOT play it.

If it had guns, it would get it, but NEVER touch a gun.

Death. Death is the only thing that would keep me away from Skyrim.

Nothing. Some of you so called fans are sad. I love fallout over tes anyday of the week yet I will still buy it no matter what. I'd hate for you guys to be my so called fan.

Agreed . . . The ES series is the best RPG series ever . . . it irks me a bit to see people who just joined the forums say they aren't going to play Skyrim.

Anyway, on-topic, every game has issues I would change to make it better but I don't think anything could break Skyrim enough for me to NOT play it. Wants and wishes aside, it's going to be epic!

If I don't get an annoying character akin to Fargoth or Adoring Fan to repeatedly kill.

If Skyrim ended up costing, like, 70 dollars or something. I'd still play it, but I'd probably do so some time after the initial release...

I'm not just a fan. I'm a consumer interested in purchasing this entertainment product. If the direction of that product is going down such a path that I would prefer to purchase something else, then that's what will happen.

I vastly prefer the Warhammer world to the Elder Scrolls world for a variety of reasons, and yet I didn't buy Mark of Chaos, and quit Warhammer Online after a short while. Doesn't mean I'm a "so-called" fan, it means my $60 isn't just a direct deposit from my paycheck on release day.

It seems most everyone can agree that hardly anything would make them not buy and play the game...

But in all honesty ; there are tons of things that could make me play the game for only a very short while.
And I am seeing a frightening tendency towards those things as more and more info is released.

The first time I played Oblivion I got through about 3 hours. Then I uninstalled it and started a new character in Morrowind. No lie.
I really don't want to have that kind of a let-down with Skyrim... Pretty please Bethesda?

For technical reasons, the only thing would be that it requires online access to play.
