Is there anyway I can do these things?

I looked at the guide and did not see a way to do these so just wanted to make sure I wasnt missing anything apparent.

1. Can I turn away dwellers that appear?

I am currently at about 117 vault dwellers and I don't want the garbage ones that keep appearing. At least not right now while I train my current dwellers to be at optimal performance level. I don't like having a queue of 5-6 dwellers so I have just been sending them out to the wasteland to die and not reviving them but it seems like I should be able to just decline their access.

2. Do legendary dwellers breed better?

This is super disappointing if it isn't true. I'm not saying two legendary dwellers should breed other legendary dwellers but they hsould have higher stats than when two standard people get together.

3. Why can I get duplicate dwellers?

It's super weird having 3 eulogy jones and doesn't make sense seems super easy to just add a flag so that duplicate legendary dwellers don't appear. Plus it isn't as exciting when I get my 3rd Eulogy Jones or my 2nd Jericho. I understand why I get duplicate legendary armor and weapons but legendary dwellers doesn't make sense.

I think that is all I have for now.

For the first question, you can gather the dweller you don't want in one room and then rush it over and over till they are dead. I think is faster than sending them out to the wasteland.

question 2 : legendary dwellers technically do not breed "better" offspring. however, the higher the stats of the parents, the more likely they will be born with a 3 on 1 or more stats depending on the parent's highest stats. i don't think any dweller can be born with more than 3 on any single stat.

if you keep breeding your highest charisma guys together, your gonna end up with a lot of babies with 3 charisma and 1-2 on the other stats.

question 1 : i dont think there is any way to turn people away without killing them, but i also would like to have this(a way to refuse dwellers you don't like). i discovered that at 200 dwellers, you can still pull legendary and rare dwellers from lunchboxes and they will wait outside your door unable to enter until you kill off one of your others.

question 3 : i agree, i don't like getting duplicate legendaries while i still have empty silhouettes of legendaries in my collection. they need to make it actually possible to complete the collection without having to open like 1000 lunchboxes. however, i see the legendaries as more of a "stat template" they are just a really high statted dweller with some nice gear and a specific appearance. you could technically rename them anything you want and just put them to work. with enough patience you can also train any common dwellers stats to legendary levels and equip them with legendary gear and then change their name...legendaries are not truly "unique".

I have 5-7 dwellers just hanging out right now out in front of the vault.

Pity that there is no way to actually turn away dwellers. Would make it a lot easier and make sense (As an overseer I should be able to say no to certain dwellers and to turn some away)
