The Mayor of Diamond City is on the large side, but not exactly fat. Also the Overseer in Vault 81 as menionted above.

and all the females I have come across(including raiders) have 'tight' figures and the exact curves at the exact places. wasteland is a lechering man's paradise

I've seen tons of pictures of the characters created by different people playing the game, and I haven't seen any that have gone with a fat build. I might have to try a fat play through eventually lol

Lucas Miller (the traveling armor salesman) is a little bit on the larger side. Mayor McDonough and Overseer MacNamara, as mentioned above, are somewhat on the chunkier side, as well as the swatta! guy in Diamond City. Skinny Malone (encountered in the Unlikely Valentine quest) is a little on the larger side. That's all that's really coming to mind though, and I wouldn't really even consider any of these characters to be 'fat' as such.

Considering that these people live in a post apocalyptic wasteland gaining fat would be far more difficult amidst starvation and the constant threat of death. With the exception of safer communities.

Though in-universe, it makes sense: food and water is supposed to be scarce as hell. No Irradiated Super McDonald Whopper Burger with mayo, onion, lettuce, tomato and cheese. Or a Ghoulified Ronald McDonald welcoming children to his store.

Hey! I have several bigger characters.

Although most of my characters tend to be halfway between muscular and fat. I just like the way it looks on my guy.

lol...Nice! That's what I'm talking about. I want to build some totally fat doofus looking character and then use him to romance all of the romancable companions.

There is also traveling armor merchant which is fat and couple of others. Actually Fallout 4 is probably the first Bethesda's game which features fat people.

Technically, you could always make your character fat in their games (via their faces), but they would all have bodies of 20-something bodybuilders.

I think that what happens is if you eat too much of the irradiated food you turn into a Bloated Glowing One or Charred Feral Ghoul.

They are the portliest creatures that I have come across in the Commonwealth.

I know a lot of people are going to say it's because of food scarcity, but I'd say that has little to do with it. The reason for America's sudden weight loss is there is there is nothing on TV... that and pretty much everyone needs to stay active/working to survive. "If you don't work, you don't eat." ... and most people have to walk everywhere they want to go.

It's pretty obvious to me. I haven't found an Xbox, PS, or a PC that can play a decent game.

I've worked in poor third world nations and there are very few fat or even slightly obese people, except for some of the very wealthy. America in Fallout 4 is basically a third world nation with very high technology. As these nations become wealthier obesity starts to become more present...

The wasteland keeps everyone on their feet & active.

Hasn't been everywhere in the game. Somehow decides to be able to determine there are no fat people in the game.

There's only a few people on the large side, but they're there. They could have possibly added some more but I'm fine with the few that are there. There don't seem to be a lot of people with enough excess to grow much fat anyhow.
