I believe those are all 2-Handed Axes, the axe heads are just embedded in the poor mammoth. Notably there is the spell "Ice Spear" so people must have the concept of spears to name the spell after them =P.

Who would throw a 2 handed axe at a mammoth? Throwing axes fair enough. But obviously spears are the most effective way to go. I love how bethesda has put 2 handed axes on that mammoth and made them look like people used them as spears.
