Is there a Console Commands to Make All NPC's Killable?

Post » Sat Jun 02, 2012 4:51 am

Is there? It would be nice because there are some really annoying NPC's that I can't kill currently.

There is a console command that allows you to target something (anything) and kill it.

But that doesn't seem to work on "unkillable" NPCs. Like those stupid generals in the imperial / stormcloak-camps after the civil war quests.

You can't kill General Tullius and Legate Rikke?

setessential #ID 0

The ID can be found by typing help "name" 4 it should give at least one random number possibly more back. One of those numbers will then make the PC killable.
You can also check Skyrim Nexus there is a txt file there that makes most (not all!!!) NPC's killable. You can run that file by opening the console and typing BAT

Wrong code then, or perhaps it worked differently. I have no idea. I do know it works on people like Ulfric, Tullius, the Greybeards etc.

open the console, click on the NPC (it must be visible, to get an ID) and type setessential 0

Wow this svcks. I tried it on kids. Didn't work. I tried it on Legate Rikke and General Tullius. Didn't work. I tried it on Susanna the Wicked. Didn't work. Wow WTF? Does this never work at all when you are trying to make immortal characters mortal?

The only time it did work is when I used it on my mortal follower, Stenvar, to make him immortal. That did work.

You need to type in the base ID too. I tried that. Didn't work. Rikke is still alive.

The ID you see there isn't the correct ID. You need the actual ID they got in the CS. You can find that by typing Help "Name" 4 in the console.

Strange, it should work. Always worked for me, are you certain there isn't more then one option (I had that a few times with people like Tulius and Ulfric) and after entering more they were killable... If that isn't the case then I have absolutely no idea.

I just tried with Susanna the Wicked. Three base ID's appeared when I type in Help. I typed in all three. She still is not killable.

ok, when I tried it on Tullius and Rikke, and using every possible base ID listed, it worked. Still isn't working on Susanna the Wicked though.

No idea what's going on then... You could also try using this code: 0001412B as found http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Susanna_the_Wicked maybe that isn't one of the codes listed? Can't really think of anything else.

My mystake... the Base ID has to be used, not the reference ID

I've been unable to get it to work on Calixto using his base ID of 0001414A. You can set it to essential 0, but an isessential check always comes back as 1. Screw blood on the ice.
