Hi...

I have Crysis 2 on steam, all paid for, multi-player works and starting a new game works.

Before 1.9 "auto" applied I was able to play at Very High very comfortably and I beat the game. Now everytime I resume or load a game (even on death), the game just freezes. Crysis (TM) has stopped working.

I've tried everything. Reinstalled 3 times, and it's a big file.

Is there a Crysis 2 I can download somewhere? I have my Steam CD Key, so would it make sense to just enter that and play without Steam?

Someone please help because steam is popular and surely someone has had this problem.

Its not steam. Its Crysis 2 v1.9. Scan a few pages of posts and you'll find multiple threads on this topic.

Some people have had luck with the origin version for this sort of issue, I have no clue, you might have to look it up.

Try backing up your Crysis 2 Steam files and reinstalling it
