I know that there are already many threads on the subject, but im just wondering if anyone has found a solution for it yet? I haven't seen many recent posts. Here's my situation::

I'm lvl 62, thane of all holds, did basically everything there is to do in the game and most of everything in Dragonborn (but haven't finished Dawnguard), which means I completed the Dark Brotherhood questline, which also means I killed the housecarl Helvard. Right now, Nenya is the housecarl and the Jarl is Siddgeir. I honestly don't remember what happened because I haven't played this save file in a while, but I did complete the Civil War questline on the Imperials side.

When I first loaded up the save file after downloading Hearthfire, I only got two letters (after entering Windhelm): one about adoption, and one from the steward of Whiterun about adding a child's room to my house there. I was able to buy the land in the other two holds no problem, but never got any more letters. But when I got to Falkreath, neither the Jarl or the housecarl had any options regarding it. The jarl is obviously displeased with me becuase he calls me a "despicable wretch" or something. I've also downloaded the patch and tried deleting it and the system cache but the game freezes up when it loads the Add-ons.

So, is there any fix for this yet?
