but you are though
He's not really trolling. Some people are getting a fps increase, some people are the same as before, some people are locked to 60, some are getting 35-40. So some debugging might find the cause.
Potential causes:
-Broken patching; reinstalling
-Some custom setting is playing up; restoring to default
-If its a cpu bottleneck, the timer resolution app if used correctly or the microsoft hotfix for hyperthreading win7/8 can help a bit (timer resolution exe needs to be used with care, without sufficient cooling and monitoring of temps it could melt your cpu)
-Reinstalling graphics drivers or using an app like CCleaner (warning advanced could dmg registry) to completely reinstall drivers cleaning.
-Updating drivers or trying different older drivers; I am currently using AMD 13.2 beta 3 and didn't get a decrease on the 'high' preset.
-lastly pr firstly trying alternate graphics settings with crysis, I believe one of the low settings is bugged in MP. High seems to be working best for me.
From what I can see:
AMD
Eyefinity: performance increase
Low graphics settings; bugged to lock vsync on or max frames
Increased performance on other higher graphical settings
Nvidia:
Low bugged to lock vsync or max frames
very high; performance drop, possibly a graphics driver issue or engine issue. Previously certain settings were bugged to not work properly on nvidia, now if they are working it might cause a fps drop.
