Is there a Frostfall lite version?

Hey everybody, I keep tweaking everything and trying make everything function more smoothly. The problem im running into it seems is that Frostfall is just to heavy a mod to use with everything else on my system. Since I started using Frostfall I have found that I simply cant not use it. I need its camping aspects for my survival play and no matter how I look at it, if you cant get too cold then there just isnt any fun for me being in the wilderness.

If I could I would like to get rid of all the extra function like graphics and visual effects. Whats most important to me is that if im in the snow that counts against me, if I get wet, that counts, and if there is any kind of weather that it counts all the more.

I know that Frostfall needs heavy scripting for its cloak thingy, but wouldnt there be a more pratical way? Say it was just a zone mod where instead of being so intelligent the map was just zoned out in a temp grid where some grids have higher or lower temp ratings than others. That way the exposure meter can just add or remove that many points depending on where you are in the world. Then have an additional count for what kind of weather you are having.

Think of it like a health bar. If you reach one hundred you die. If you are in the woods in a valley you get 0 if you are in the woods near a mountain you get 1 if you are near a place where there is snow you get 5. If you go into the snow you get 10, if there is ice you get 20. Then if its raining you get an extra 5 on top if your area, 10 if its snowing, 25 if its a blizzard. Being wet could be anything from 1.5-3 times magnitude. Then you take into account what you are wearing (fur clothes) and get a number of points reduction more if you have a fire, more if you have a shelter so on and so forth.

There wouldnt be much need for scripting because it would behave like a magic effect stacking rather than having to try and understand what every little thing is doing in the world.
