:lmao:

Tamriel Health Care. What next? Union of Dungeon Builders? :P

No, I doubt there is a "health care" system, since such a system is more of a modern thing revolving around our peculiar economy.

I would think there would be a village healer in remote areas, and maybe a Healer's school or something (apprenticeship, scholarly learning?) either the magic side or the alchemical side that churns out the sorts of healers that attend royal personages and Important Rich People. Then you get your hedge apothecaries and the like.

Nope, the only way you're getting healing is throught the church, or through the mages guild monopoly on magic.

Health care? Well there are healers and alchemists who can heal or prepare healing potions, and there are shrines and altars to receive blessings and healing from.
I'm guessing it's more towards magic rather than science, like learning the skills of restoration.
Plus, you don't see any hospitals, clinics or health care centres in towns, so healers and alchemists are the closest.

Or your alchemical shops to supply healing potions

Church, Mages Guild, or Alchemy shops....

Now I'm sure that the Empire has a system to feed and shelter the unemployed like the Romans did.

In MW, the temples would give out free medicine and healing to the poor, and teach them how to read. Sadly, it seems the chapels of the nine don't do this.

In the empire it all depends on where your at, in cyrodiil you'll have to seek out a member of the mages guild, someone from the imperial temple or an alchemist who in this case would be considered a pother.

Thats what I never really got about the alchemical system of TES, they call alchemy the creation of potions when in reality its the transmutation of elements I.E lead into Gold.

potion making would fall under the duties of an apothecary, and there in the healer would be a Pother or maker of potions and medicines.

of course Bethesda just did what everyone else does, they over-simplified it so it all just fell under 1 category when in reality they are nothing alike though you can use alchemical tools in the creation of potions hence how apothecaries were started but they were never the same thing.

alchemy included a lot of things, the transmutation of elements was only one part of it. There is no clear cut between alchemy and apotehcary.

chinese alchemy was focused on creating an immortality pill. With recipes inculding quicklsiver, ate least one chinese emepror is said to have earend an early demise from his alchemists...

In the Real Barenziah, Symachuss hires a hack doctor/priest to try and save his mother. Then kills him when he fails. So yeah, there is healthcare apparently. And it svcks.

Yes. All the provinces have universal healthcare. Except Cyrodiil. The Imperials are to stubborn to change to a system that works.

Over here social health care came about as the result of a rich middle and upper-class fearing a mob rebellion if people were treated too poorly in combination with a religious view that advocated modesty and sobriety and compassion. It resulted the foundation of orphan home and hospitals. Though the orphans once they were mature were sent of with the East India Compangy.

Cyrodiil definitely has both those elements. So it's possible.

IIRC The Tribunal Temple also provides for the poor. Can't recall where it's from though.

It was mentioned in OB with that one dunmer priest, who was an ex-priest of the Temple

There's also a comment from Caius Cosades in Morrowind who finds the Temple's charity work admirable. Which hints that he wasn't much impressed by Cyrodill's equivalent.

I heard from a friend that Uriel Septim had begun a radical campaign of trying to push a Free Healthcare Appropriations Proclamation through the Elder Council before, much to the relief of the Healers' Guild, he was stabbed in the face.

COINCIDENCE...OR NOT??????
