NordicNinja - I know the lore, at least the basics of it I'm just saying the actual way this works and what effect it has on mind and body of the shouter has not been explained in great detail. The lore so far describes it merely as the phenomenon that it is, it doesn't explain the inner workings in the way the OP is asking for.

We don't know too much about dragon shouts in lore other than a reference in a book in TES: Redguard that mentions nord warriors using shouts or something of that nature. So the limitations would not be fully understood until we have the game in our possession. My guess is that since dragons are using them, and the PC has the soul of a dragon, then there is probably some taxation of the soul that causes a cool down.

Pretty sure yelling something loud enough to conjure fire would tire anyone out.

if you've seen the demo you would know..even the dragons doesn't spam fire breath.

Good point, Holemole, cause if he did, he'd breathe fire instead of roaring as he went over the player's head.

Win. you can harvest honey, and it is very possible there could be Ginseng, or ginger roots in-game.
