I used to use LTD's vampire overhaul and you could hypnotize npcs and access their inventory, including their currently equipped items. The current version though is buggy for me and I can't get it to work. Is there another mod that added some sort of illusion spell or ability to allow you to rob someone? The idea would be a somewhat pacifist character. I wouldn't kill the bandits and marauders, just cast a charm/calm/command spell and take all their clothes.
