I think that the quest marker system could be better - if I want to follow a particular quest objective, I know that I can always deactivate all the other quests, so that the only marker left is the relevant one. But I tend to like to keep all the quests that I intend to do at some point active, so that I don't forget about them. (I haven't found a way to remove quests that you don't intend to do at all from the list of open quests.)

An easy improvement would be if you could, on the map screen, select a particular quest marker, and change it's color, say, to red. That way it would stand out from the other quest markers.

At the moment, I'm just placing a blue marker near the correct quest marker, but that seems sub-optimal. If I could REPLACE a quest marker with a blue marker, that'd be good.

So, does anyone know of a mod that would implement anything like this?
