Is there a mod for NPCs to attack monsters that enter towns?

I just had an Ogrim run amok around Vos whilst the guards just stood there. Are there any mods that fix this?

Hmm, that's strange. When it comes to creature attacks, guards should help you by default. Do you have any mods that could alter guards in some way?

I've had this happen on occasion too. I find that once the creature starts attacking somebody and the guards see it they usually react.

That just gave me a great idea, think about random creatures spawning and wondering into towns...

This will occasionally happen near Caldera with Guars and Ald Ruhn with Cliff racers, if I remember correctly.

Skyrim does this a lot with Dragon encounters and villages. A lot of people end up dying. I don't think it was properly thought out.

I mean, that wasn't necessarily because of the dragons, but more because of the NPC AI. Every villager would rush over to fight the dragon, even if they hadn't fought a day in their life. If they actually took shelter and let the guards take care of it, I'm sure things would work out much better for them. It would also be great if they were set up like the companions were- unable to die during a dragon fight unless attacked by the player.

But that's off topic. I think Protective Guards is a good choice, the guards in my game rush to my aid when creatures enter towns though, so I never needed it. It's different for everyone I suppose.

The Protective Guards works for attacking NPCs alone, not for creatures. Guards already defend the player from creature attacks (usually ).

The other mod, about fleeing NPCs when fight is around, is http://download.fliggerty.com/download--33
